In Gilgit-Baltistan, Local Government and Rural Development department is executing over seven hundred small schemes costing two crore and seventy five lac rupees in Hunza Nagar.
In an interview to Radio Pakistan on Tuesday, Director LG&RD Gilgit Region Muhammad Mushtaq said all ongoing schemes will be completed by the end of June this year.
The annual development schemes have been launched in communication, irrigations, physical planning and housing, soil conservation, health and sanitation sectors.
After completion, they will pave way for socio- economic development in the region.
