Chinese are way over reacting over an issue they claim to totally ignore. If this verdict is pointless and will have no impact whatsoever, why so much reaction ? Statements from everyone in govt ( From president to Def. minister to Foreign office ) and so many " sudden and not at all sponsored by state " reaction from citizens point to something else.
They can be very bad losers, especially when beaten by smaller countries. When China loses sport matches against such there can be ugly riots. I recall one occasion in the 1980s when the police lost it and joined the protesters, smashing cars in an anti-foreigner binge after China's soccer team lost to Saudi Arabia.Again a lot of bitter arrogant chinese

The Tribunal states that China thought it was acting in good faith so China's diplomats and leaders may have misunderstood just what deep doo-doo they were in.They are slipping. I would have expected them to have a substantial list generated well before the verdict.

BTW where is the magic list of 40-60 countries they have backing them.
