. . . . .
the saudis don't mind so why should we

this is also insulting..the Beer company can simply use the Saudi emblem which is official practice of Saudi state.
The Kalma appearing on the flag is not an official symbol of the state, therefore the Beer company shouldn't be using it.

and than west says we are so innocent , we never provoke anyone ...

Using the Kalma to represent Saudi state is also a malpractice.

Its not like the Germans dont know about the offensive value already..there was huge outcry earlier when using the same on footballs...

Appears to be culturally unsensitive and disrspectful

However it is tied to world cup promotion for which Saudia has qualified for
The company may just have unknowingly used the flag on bottle caps for promotion of world cup not militious but , not aware of cultural sensitivity

We all will not be talking about it if there was a Saudi emblem instead of Kalma..so its publicity stunt..and like Charlie Hebdo..it can back fire..

It seems they've printed flags of all teams in the World Cup.

It's weird to have "sacred" things printed on flags. In this age, flags are used for various purposes that may not go with religious "sensibilities".
