I am a veteran of Desert Storm. Long before I packed my 'mobag' -- mobility bag -- to deploy, there were already all sorts of predictions as to what would the Muslims do in spite of their governments' alliance with the infidel US, which was controlled by the Jews. Those predictions ranged from obedience to outright rebellions by the ordinary Muslims enraged at a combined army leads by the US to attack Iraq. The predictions were discussed in the newspapers and among the TV talking heads. And yes, the US government had plans for that possibility, ranging from leaving Iraq immediately after Saddam Hussein was either killed or militarily defeated or to bribe the Muslims not to rebel. No one knew with any degree of certainty on what would happens.

Personally I've wondered if the proper approach would have been to bring his carcass back to America to hang in Times Square for the crows and pigeons to feed upon. I don't know if that would violate Talmudic or U.S. laws but historically that's how the U.S. usually treated outlaws (minus the crows and pigeons part).
