Origin of Muslim Brotherhood: Caspianreport

. .
I read years back about them and their origin it was on an Islamic Forum on the Internet that Jamal Addin Al-Afghani the one who started it all was actually Iranian and a Bahai'e. He was sent to Beirut by the British to Spy against the Ottomans. From what I gathered he also was a Freemason and opened a Free masonic lodge in Beirut which till this day stands. He mentored Muhammad Abdu and Rashid Rida who were both Freemasons and students of this iranian guy. Subsequently Muhammad Abdu became the teacher of al-banna and that's how he got to create this fraternity called "Muslim Brotherhood". Scary stuff but I don't know if this is relevant nowadays because many members of their group have different beliefs now.

The grandson of Hasan Al-Banna I think Tariq Ramadan is a Shi'ee now and appears on P-I-S-S TV regularly someone correct me on that.
