Başika'da üssümüze yönelik şu an itibariyle bir tehdit söz konusu değil. Gerekli tedbirler alınmıştır" dedi.

Kurtulmuş, 15 Temmuz darbe girişimi ile ilgili "Çanakkale Savaşı'nda o büyük gemilerin arkasındaki irade ile 15 Temmuz'da uçakları kaldıran irade aynıdır" ifadelerini kullandı.

Turkey has the most right to defend the MISAK-I MILLI borders. Turkey has over 350 km border with Iraq, and it hosts most refugees in the region and probably in the entire world today. So when anything goes in the wrong direction it will be Turkey who is going to pay the expense - not US or EU or Iran for that matter, but Turkey - both because our border but also history and our humane nature.

One couldn't exclude France from taking part of operations in Belgium if Belgium was suffering from terrorists who occupied their main cities. Especially not when 36 other countries was operating in Belgium.

Maliki destroyed Iraqi Army long before ISIS made their big move. Fool dismantled many good units and sacked commanders replacing em with his loyalists. Bunch of corrupt amateurs. There are some still very capable units, but they are insuficient.

But Pesmargha shouldn really be the ones calling em out. ISIS routed em out almost just as easly from Sinjar and suroandings. If Coalition didnt came to the rescue it would be a close fight.

It seems you don't know much about Iraqi army post Saddam. Maliki purged many Saddam era commanders, but many still remained, and US and west forced Iraq not to fire them. The whole ISIS sweeping victories in Iraq in 2014 was because of betrayal of very same commanders. That's why Mosul or Tikrit fell with almost no single bullet shot. Unlike what many people think, Iraqi army didn't 'flee' from Mosul, most of soldiers were ordered to simply leave their units. Commanders of Ninavah province ordered their troops to leave their weapons and go home, all only hours or a day before ISIS enters the city. It was a coordinated act of treason by many army commanders with allegiance to Saddam, thinking that ISIS will establish another Saddam-like regime and overthrow the so called 'Shia government'. But ISIS killed many of them first, ironically.

So if anything, it wasn't about Maliki purging commanders, it was about him not purging them enough. Any commander with allegiance to Saddam regime would be a poison for Iraqi army. One good thing about this whole ISIS story in Iraq was that Iraqi army had a major reconstruction and purification, many commanders with different loyalties were purged, forces were trained to fight properly and many true faces were shown.

Yes that was the case in Speicher camp. Some tribes who were with ISIS told the cadets you should leave the base without arms and you will be unharmed, and when they did, some man blocked their path, arresting all of them and gave them to ISIS terrorists who executed them all.

It should be noted that most of those responsible for the massacre, either in ISIS or tribe leaders were hunted down eventually. Especially those tribal bastards, many of them were killed later. But simple death wasn't a good punishment.

Once kalk soyle asker yollayacagiz, Turkiye'siz operasyon olunmaz diye simdi sadece hava saldirilar ile yetinmekte kal. Oyle sey mi olur lan yollayacan onbin, yuzbin askerini. Musul'un etnik ve jeopolitik yapisini degisirse Turkiye'nin sinirlari ciddi tehlike altina girmis bulunur. Sii'ler ac kopek gibi bekliyor, Barzaninin agzinan salyalar akiyor.
