One army trooper killed in Keran sector

A trooper was killed in a failed infiltration bid in Keran Sector along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Army sources said today.

S Patil, a jawan of 15 Rashtriya Rifles, was injured when infiltrating militants opened fire on Army troops, who laid an ambush near the LoC at Sundernali in Keran, they said.

Sources said the army personnel retaliated, forcing the militants to flee to the other side of LoC.

Yes territories of J&K, AJK, GB and areas held by China are regarded as disputed territory pending final resolution by UN resolution 47-48.
But point out single text, where it has been mentioned as occupied territory!!

Firing in Keran sector again, army jawan killed
New Delhi: After the 15-day-long operations by the Indian Army that foiled a massive infiltration bid in Keran sector in Jammu and Kashmir, there are reports of fresh firing in the sector.

An Indian Army soldier was killed in the firing along the LoC which stated at 8 am and stopped and 5 pm today.

Eight infiltrators were killed in the operation that got over on October 8 after around 35-40 militants had reportedly infiltrated into Keran sector on Spetember 24.

Since the beginning of this year, there have been nearly 130 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC).
