Anyways coming on to the points that blain2 noted, if Musharraf gets convicted for Lal Masjid case, then we can say goodbye to peace. This would be a signal to terrorists to do anything they want and get away with it! Lal Masjid was an ammo storage with hundreds of fighters holed up...this is a ridiculous case.

*warning huge conspiracy theory ahead* powers that be have selected Musharraf to be the scapegoat. Some points:

1- Courts are perusing an investigation on Lal Mosque issue (the leading witness claims the issue was resolved when Musharraf decided to attack the mosque)

2- Baluchs sentiment against Musharraf.

3- Pakhtoon sentiment against Musharraf (U-Turn which resulted in TTP), acceptance of drones

4- TTP stance against Musharraf.

5- Another conspiracy theory but U-turn of Haroon Rashid and Hasan Nisar (and many others) against PTI.

6- Embarrassment of PA on drone issue and how one of their own allowed it.

I think PTI was used to pressurize PMLN to come to some sort of understanding. Once that understanding has been reached PTI promoters take a sudden U-turn. Related to this understanding is to make Musharraf a scapegoat and make peace with Baluchis and TTP. The issue of Lal mosque gets resolved too, PA absolves itself from CIA operative and drone issues and becomes mujahid again *conspiracy theory off* what say
