On Arab indifference toward the Peshawar massacre

Says one whose PM is a murderer.
Narendra-Modi.jpg

Buddy till Modi is a PM, you can hope to resolve problems with India. Because his ideology sees the subcontinent as a one co-operation and power. He has no problem with the Muslims, he has problem with those who use terms like Muslims, Hindus, etc to differentiate.

Because he is there ISIL has not targeted the subcontinent with major operations other wise , you would have been already facing this problem Balochistan. The balance of power is must to counter them. Because those people see us as southasian and not Hindu or Muslims.

Please take your Arab Vs Ajam fight some place else.

The world in general and us in particular have suffered enough because of this fight.

Contribute and argue on topic.

Let the arab originators of Islam fight for it.

Pakistan should be a secular country and non aligned.

Why do not you guys stop affiliating Madrassa education..Try to regulate education only though the gov schools only. It will help you in long run...You guys has to come out of this to save your children from being brainwashed.

The seed was sown by Zia ul Haq when he decided to cut the budget for education (for whatever purposes) and fill the void of schools with Madrassas funded from the ME. The ones educated in those Madrassas have now become the educators, this is why extremism suddenly exploded in Pakistan.

By the time the purpose (for which education budget was cut) got solved, such Madrassas had already become an indispensable part of educational infrastructure. This is why the subsequent governments could not suddenly do away with them (they would have had to spend a great deal of money to change Madrassas into modern schools). And well, also in part because the subsequent governments did not show the will to do so since everything appeared very convenient at low price.

Had the kids studied at proper schools with all the subjects in focus, they would have grown up to question the roles of politicians and the Army in the development of nation. But for a Madrassa educated kid the priority is neither the nation, nor the people, it is the religion. And to their delight, the religion did get pretty intense!

The current situation in Pakistan, though looks dismal, will lead to a much brighter future because resistance is coming equally from almost all quarters and politicians and the Army both have understood this sort of education to be more harmful for the future of Pakistan than anything else.

This backlash you see in this particular thread is a mere reflection of frustration of Pakistanis w.r.t. the effects of such Madrassas in Pakistan (They are taking it out mostly on Saudis because most Aalims of such Madrassas take the Saudis as their masters, and act as are ordered).

When the kids of today grow up tomorrow, they will be a progressive lot. So Pakistan and Pakistanis are just in a phase - the problem is already being universally recognized in the country, and it won't be long before they are out of this struggle and focus directly on nation building.

Did we do that because we were offended or did we do it for Arabs? Anyway they shouldn't have protested. What for some stupid YouTube video/or a cartoon that hardly anyone knew about until the western media brought it to our attention? This is what they wanted us to do protest, burn effigies, or maybe the icing on the cake kill someone over a video/cartoon. "Look world. Look how barbaric and senseless these Muslims are", and we Pakistanis so easily fell right into their trap. We Pakistanis have enough problems of our own. Let’s protest about that, rather than something we have no control over nor does the world care about our opinion at our current state.

Pakistanis sitting in Arab states and living off Arabs and the opportunities found in those same Arab countries (ironically not in Pakistan) while badmouthing a nation of 500 million people and 500 million opinions.

That's PDF for you.

Let them find sanctuary at their Indian or Farsi neighbors. My patience has ended.

@JUBA

You were right. See you "over there" in January.

You're most welcome brother :)

careful little one unless you are ready to argue with reason.

Try contradicting what I have said with facts.

otherwise learn.

The odd thing here is not the indifference of Arab countries to this incident .
They have there own problems and with ISIS perhaps a bigger one !
The odd thing is the fascination of us Pakistanis with every other Muslim especially Arab country due to this delusional concept in our minds about this non-existent Muslim brotherhood.
You see no other nationality clinging onto this Ummah ideology as Pakistanis do and these delusions are beginning to present a threat with forces like the taliban seeing the Pakistani state as an obstacle to their dream of forming a Caliphate and hence trying to destroy it.

I can understand why so many Pakistanis are frustrated with Arabs given that we are taught concepts like solidarity with other Muslims from a very early age

One problem with the education system in Pakistan is that parents have a choice of educating their children in madrassas - the absolute majority of which are directly funded by Wahhabis. This creates a society of extreme thinking people and those who unconditionally start loving Arabs (because apparent Islam = Arabs; some crazy people even started demanding for Arabic to be made official if I remember correctly).
This is slowly but surely changing, and it shows when you visit the country. The next steps forwards for us are:
- closing down such madrassas, and carefully monitoring every other in the country,
- giving state education a No. 1 PRIORITY, because with degenerates running around issues such as radicalisation are impossible to prevent.

As for the thread itself: I don't know why some Pakistanis are still crying for about Arab sentiments. Let them do what they do, for their sorrows, or lack of, have no effect on the current situation. Let us focus on our own problems, as there is much room for improvement; all is not yet lost.

.
What a pathetic thread. Some people will always find faults due to their inherent hatred towards a particular community. The whole media reported the tragic incident including the arab world who r themselves suffering form the violence caused by lunatic extremist, the whole muslim world sympathized with Pakistanis. But some people r trying to make cheap shots on their favorite punching bag- in this case arabs. One wonders how do these people measure the Arab media's "degree of interest" required by such a human catastrophe?

.
If we are ever going to solve this issue than we need to admit that this is our fault.
Yes my dear Ozzy, that is the truth. As we are arguing on this forum, the nation is waking up to realise the blunders that have lead to this issue in the first place. However, change is not immediate - for as long as madrassa educated idiots exist, there will always be a small faction among us who will weep for hanged terrorists!!
But I'll say this again - it is not military might that is going to normalise the situation, but education. That is key.
