The odd-couple relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel may have been sealed with more than a mutual desire to kiss-off Iran. According to an intelligence source, there was a dowry involved, too, with the Saudis reportedly giving Israel some $16 billion, writes Robert Parry.

Saudi Arabia has tried to build a lobby in the United States that could rival the imposing Israel Lobby. But the Saudis never could build the grassroots political organisation.
Now Saudi Arabia found an alternate, buy Israel so as all Israeli backers dance to Saudi tunes! According to U.S. intelligence analysts, the Saudis paid Israel at least $16 billion over the past two-and-a-half years! And shocking to all, the money was used for Israeli settlements in the West Bank!!
As Saudis couldn't beat the Israel Lobby, they bought it. And, the Saudis have found their behind-the-scenes collaboration with Israel extremely valuable. In Netanyahu Saudis have a trusted spokesman on Iran’s nuclear program. Netanyahu was doing your bidding in front of the US Senate-Congress proclaiming “Iran now dominates four Arab capitals, Baghdad, Damascus, Beirut and Sanaa. And if Iran’s aggression is left unchecked, more will surely follow.”
This is towards an effort to correct the historic blunder committed by Saudis - converting Sunni led Iraq to Shiites led Iraq, to kill the so-called Shiites Crescent - Tehran --> Baghdad --> Damascus --> Beirut. When the neocons got their chance to invade Iraq in 2003, they inadvertently tipped the Mideast balance in favor of the Shiites!
But watch out Saudis: Zionist and neo-cons have a reputation for bleeding dry any pawn that that can add to their power and this applies to you too Saudis! After Iran has been crushed, they will turn their attention to you Saudis to grab your oil and land! And Saudis what are doing in Yemen is the extreme of the crimes against humanity! If the children in Yemen are not killed by bombs and bullets, they are killed by a lack of food :Everybody is desperately worried about the future.
