Norway issues warrant for Rinson Jose, entrepreneur linked to Bulgarian company supplying pagers to Hezbollah.

Norway has issued an international warrant for Rinson Jose, an Indian-born entrepreneur linked to a Bulgarian shell company that allegedly sold explosive pagers to Hezbollah. Jose, the founder of Norta Global Ltd, reportedly disappeared during a work trip to the United States last week, shortly after attending a conference in Boston on September 17. His employer, DN Media Group, has been unable to contact him since September 18, raising concerns about his safety and whereabouts. The pagers, which detonated in Lebanon last week, resulted in at least 39 fatalities and thousands of injuries. Investigations revealed that these devices were part of a supply chain involving multiple companies, including Norta Global, which was established by Jose in 2022. The Norwegian police have confirmed that they are treating his disappearance seriously and have initiated an international search request through Interpol. The situation has drawn significant media attention due to the implications of the pager explosions and their connection to Hezbollah, a militant group based in Lebanon. While the exact details of how these pagers were weaponized remain unclear, authorities from Bulgaria, Hungary, Taiwan, and Norway are collaborating to investigate the supply chain involved in this incident.Jose's family has expressed concern over his sudden disappearance and stated they had regular communication with him until recently. As investigations continue, both Norwegian and Bulgarian authorities are under pressure to clarify the circumstances surrounding the pagers and Jose's involvement in this troubling case.
