Russia can crush Houthis within weeks. There can be a deal. UAE and Saudi Arabia buy Su-35 and MiG-35. In exchange, Russia crush Houthis within a week. Russia's aim is to pull UAE and Saudi Arabia away from America influence into Russia influence.

Dumb logic.
MbS and Putin are buddies already and KSA and Russia have close ties.
Look at those smiles. How cunning.
Russia could not crush 3 million Chickens for 15 years and lost an entire war against this tiny entity.
Saudi Arabia and UAE refuse to buy Russia military hardware. Putin angry.
KSA bought the mighty S-400.
Not enough. SAM is not major military hardware. They must buy Su-35 and MiG-35.

It is mighty.
No. Not needed. KSA and Russia are trading oil and controlling the oil market. Huge business. Mighty business.
Oil business is much smaller than aircraft business in Russia.
Nah. May 2018.

- Roughly 40% of Russia's federal budget revenues come from oil federal budget.
- Russia expects oil revenue to jump five-fold.
- Russia to post a budget surplus for the first time since 2011.

Let us not forget the gas!
US$44.4 billion for 2018 (profit from oil and gas).
All Russian military weapons export were 15 billion USD last year (record income)

However producing all those weapons and keeping the industry alive also costs the Russian state billions of dollars each year.
So the profit is much, much smaller.
An indigenous well-developed arms industry is only good business for a few select countries. The primary goal of an indigenous well-developed arms industry is self-sufficiency. There are few exceptions, namely the US, Russia, France, UK and not many more. China maybe. Remove certain buyers and at least the French and UK industries would struggle bigly.
Houti rebel just fired a UAV on abu Dhabi airport .

Oil will run out soon. Aircraft industry is the future. That's why Russia invests so heavily in its aircraft industry.
Yes, but Arab states have the greatest potential for solar and wind energy (renewable energy) so no worry. KSA alone has trillions of dollars worth of minerals. No big deal. Oil and gas will be used for a LONG, long time to come. Arab economies are transitioning away from oil and gas which is a good thing.
Electric cars are cutting into oil cars market big time. See the new Teslas? Even if oil will be used for a long time, their market and revenues will fall over time.
