North Yemen shoots missiles at UAE for backing deposed Hadi

Russia can crush Houthis within weeks. There can be a deal. UAE and Saudi Arabia buy Su-35 and MiG-35. In exchange, Russia crush Houthis within a week. Russia's aim is to pull UAE and Saudi Arabia away from America influence into Russia influence.

LOL, at this pathetic Houthi terrorist cult propaganda. No useless missile has successfully hit anything in KSA. Let alone UAE.

Saudi Aramco has extinguished a minor fire that broke out on July 18 at its 126,000-b/d refinery in Riyadh.

Aramco fire protection crews and civil defense firefighters brought the fire under control shortly after it occurred, the operator said in a post to its official Twitter account.

No personnel were injured as a result of the incident, and there is no impact to operations at the site, Aramco said.

While Aramco confirmed the fire was caused by an operational incident at the refinery, the operator disclosed no further details regarding the operational upset.

In a separate post on July 18 to the official Twitter account of Al-Masira television channel—run by Yemen’s Houthi rebel movement—the Iranian-allied group claimed its drone air forces targeted the Riyadh refinery, according to reports from local media outlets in the region.

The Saudi-Iranian conflict remains contentious in Yemen, where the Saudi military continues to fight Iranian-backed Houthi rebels (OGJ Online, Dec. 6, 2017; Nov. 7, 2017).

Houthi terrorist cult propaganda, "but, but, but we destroyed the entire refinery and burned all of Riyadh down".

The Houthi terrorist cult is being being crushed by the Yemeni army and Arab coalition.

Russia could not crush 3 million Chickens for 15 years and lost an entire war against this tiny entity. Yemen is 100 times larger, much more populous, Yemenis are tougher people and Houthis outnumber Chechens many times over. Climate more difficult too.

Russia cannot still defeat all insurgency in Caucasus. Mighty USA cannot defeat Taliban in Afghanistan or ISIS. Could not defeat insurgents in Iraq etc.

Dumb logic.

MbS and Putin are buddies already and KSA and Russia have close ties.

Look at those smiles. How cunning.

Putin looks like a tiny school boy compared to MbS.

Anyway I proposed evacuating civilians from Houthi strongholds and then using chemical weapons against the terrorist cult and get over with it. Yemen's population is exploding anyway. Such tactic won't be used though. Would have been a very good option for Yemen though.

Saudi Arabia and UAE refuse to buy Russia military hardware. Putin angry.

Where?

Not enough. SAM is not major military hardware. They must buy Su-35 and MiG-35.

It is mighty.

No. Not needed. KSA and Russia are trading oil and controlling the oil market. Huge business. Mighty business.

Mighty KSA and mighty Russia, when cooperating on this sector alone, are earning huge, huge money every second, minute, hour and day. Huge money. Winning bigly.

Northern Yemen was a semi-protectorate of KSA. Could be again.

Oil business is much smaller than aircraft business in Russia.

Nah. May 2018.

Russia's oil revenue is about to soar

  • Roughly 40% of Russia's federal budget revenues come from oil federal budget.
  • Russia expects oil revenue to jump five-fold.
  • Russia to post a budget surplus for the first time since 2011.

https://www.businessinsider.com/russia-oil-revenue-about-to-soar-2018-5?r=US&IR=T&IR=T

Let us not forget the gas!

US$44.4 billion for 2018 (profit from oil and gas).

All Russian military weapons export were 15 billion USD last year (record income)

https://www.dailysabah.com/defense/2018/02/07/russia-exported-15-billion-worth-of-weapons-in-2017

However producing all those weapons and keeping the industry alive also costs the Russian state billions of dollars each year.

So the profit is much, much smaller.

An indigenous well-developed arms industry is only good business for a few select countries. The primary goal of an indigenous well-developed arms industry is self-sufficiency. There are few exceptions, namely the US, Russia, France, UK and not many more. China maybe. Remove certain buyers and at least the French and UK industries would struggle bigly.

Houti rebel just fired a UAV on abu Dhabi airport .

Oil will run out soon. Aircraft industry is the future. That's why Russia invests so heavily in its aircraft industry.

Do you really believe that or are you swallowing Houthi terrorist cult propaganda blindly?

You do realize that there are 100.000's upon 100.000's of passengers daily at that airport and if this news was genuine you would have 1000's of videos online by now on Twitter, social media, news etc. The airport would also have been closed, lol.

However there is zero. I wonder why that is?

Yes, but Arab states have the greatest potential for solar and wind energy (renewable energy) so no worry. KSA alone has trillions of dollars worth of minerals. No big deal. Oil and gas will be used for a LONG, long time to come. Arab economies are transitioning away from oil and gas which is a good thing.

Electric cars are cutting into oil cars market big time. See the new Teslas? Even if oil will be used for a long time, their market and revenues will fall over time.

Not at all. Vast majority of the population of the world live in developing countries where even access to the internet is not a given let alone clean water. Countries like India, China and all of Sub-Saharan Africa and tons of other areas of the world will rely on oil and gas for years to come.

Nowadays most Europeans/Westerners cannot afford electric cars and that won't change for at least 1-2 decades if not more.

Besides oil is not only used as petrol it has numerous uses in various industries that would not work without oil.
