No to CPEC unless Pakistan Provide Trade Access to India! Ghani

I never disputed ports benefit to Pakistan. My questions is why u expect chinese will ship their goods via gwadar port when they hav cheaper sea route.

and who said sea route is cheaper, FYI from Sinkiang to Gawadar it takes only 10 days to reach middle east while from sea route it takes 45 days, so what route will be cheaper, secondly strait of Malacca is a hub of piracy, and CPEC is a alternate route of that sea route...

When Pakistan itself is not using karakoram highway for trade with chinese, you expect chinese to send their goods 8000 km overland to gwadar and again to load in ships?

He simply says it will enhance the trade.That doesn't mean they will use gwadar port to trade with other countries. Even 99% Pakistan's trade with china is happening via sea route not karakoram highway.

i know it will difficult for you to digest but you have to digest it....and i don't know how.....

With all educational institutions and boasting by indians, there is still NO known treatment or answer for indian circular logic. This national illness of indians passed from generation to generation. If anyone invent a treatment, will deserve a nobel prize and I, for one, will celebrate that.

Karakoram highway was there for last 4 decades. Gwadar port is operational since 2008. Still 99% of your trade with china is happening via sea route.

If land route is cheap as claimed by you, why Pakistan is not using land route to trade with china.

The first trade convoy carrying goods for export through the western route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and a Chinese ship arrived at Gwadar Port on Nov 12, 2016.

According to official sources, while one Chinese ship has been anchored at Gwadar Port, another is expected to reach on Saturday. The goods would be exported through Gwadar port to Middle East and African countries.

you need to learn.Port is in operational for last 10 years. Still it is recieving only 2 or 3 ships every month. Even Pakistani traders r not using this port. You expect chinese to trade via gwadar port

You need to learn that the port doesnt run on your criteria or needs. Gwadar port got operational in Nov 2016 and trading has begun. Every process is slow at start and will pick up in coming years. Many companies and containers already have contracts on different routes and trading which cannot change and be shifted to Gwadar over night.

Had you done your research, i wouldnt be replying this to you.A major reason is that the alternative sea routes are monitored constantly by USA and its allies. If you have a look at the map, the other sea route is longer also so there is a distance and cost factor involved too.
