I understand it's embarrassing and fills you and others with shame. Allow me to point out that I am not a braver person for raising the issue. I am lucky to live in the U.S.A. where we have - and enforce - the freedoms you lack to exercise the rights of a democratic citizen.

The Pakistani State has chosen to adopt anti-semitism - unjustifiable and unquestionable hatred - as a tool of its rule. If you aren't willing to defy it, at the very least you can keep yourself from repeating the official mantra with such enthusiasm.

I'm not a Pakistani or of Pakistani descent and I don't have Pakistani relatives. I'm not a diplomat or USG official. I can't win Pakistan's battles for you; I can only provide some lore, logic, and perspective.
