That's a joke, China has never helped out Pak when they most needed it. That's what happens in grossly unequal relationships formed out of complete lack of respect. US ditched Pak when it felt like it, so has China. They'll do so again.

Its foolish of Pak to expect help in the first place, but that's their call.

India can work with Vietnam and arm them, train them etc. We should never set expectations that we'll fight their war for them.

I am against use of IOR for strategic purposes like docking of nuclear submarines....

India has never objected for the passage of cargo ships....
Business is fine ....you can pass through here and we can drill in international waters or Viets EEZ for oil,hydrocarbons or other stuff

Nobody prevent you to dock your strategic sub in Vietnam...if you have some but we do what ever we want in IOR. And we don't care if any oil drill inside or international water that has nothing relate to China...such as Atlantic or near American coastal sea

Despite India's repeated protests, China doesn't care what it does in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir even though it is a UN recognized 'disputed' territory and is much more hotly contested than the SCS but throws a hissy fit when India returns the favor and ventures out to explore for oil in territories which might actually be Vietnam's waters.
