LOL.....Indians are proud of "being able" to manufacture teeny weenie bicycle parts.

As long as Indians are happy.

Sigh another delusional idiot. India already has a russian 9000ton nuke sub in commision and by end of decade another one will be too along with 4 indigenous arihat class. Vikramaditya and Vikrant fully ready for war side by side by 2018 -19.

Here's Vikrant after joining ski jump this month :

80 destroyers/frigates and other types of ships under construction. PN can't even match coast guard of India 5yrs from now.

In manufacturing and steel we come 4th and 5th in world. Chennai is home to around 35-40% of India's total automobile industry and for this reason it is known as the Detroit of Asia. It is on the way to becoming the world's largest Auto hub by 2016 with a capacity of over 3 million cars annually.

FYI :)

it is more like no high tech no aircraft carrier,

India is a feudal society, the corrupted government will get money one way or another even its a primitive country.

but when you lack at the very basic technological know-hows, the state of development is entirely dependent on foreign direct tech and hardware assistance.

so the question of when India's 'indigenous' AC will be complete is depending on how quick others to deliver all the core techs and hardware

Pakistan has enough missiles to keep Indian ACC far away from her shores.

An ACC remains far away from an enemy shore and in the blue water from where the planes attack their military targets onshore as well as offshore.

So, the missile batteries in the Pakistani shore may find their target too far away. It is also very difficult to hit a moving target in the sea. The missiles may miss a moving ACC by quite a few meters. PN may have to plan differently to challenge IN built ACC.

.
AC never go nearer to shores. and india is building AC for countering china not pakistan.

Are you sure IN's only one unit of would-be built ACC will pass a long route through Malakka Strait and to the sea near Shanghai and will destroy all things Chinese? It may not be so easy.

IN is building the ACC to keep PN navy ships at a distance. This is the truth. The construction of such an ACC will also put pressure on the PN to build a similar one which will strain the economy of Pakistan.

However, after reading the thread title, it seems the construction of a gigantic ACC has strained the Indian economy already.
