Implementation of the wind farm is on really a small scale but first part of CPEC really emphasized on power projects. Pakistan's power shortage has been greatly reduced in the last year or so.

PMLN govt was using oil powered power plants which are the most expensive way of producing electricity in summer to appease the masses. PTI govt followed same policy and then were forced to go to get loans from Saudi Arabia and China. Don't know level of circular debt now. Pakistan can produce electricity to meet its needs but cannot pay for electricity produced by power plants installed by BB for quick fix. Will have to convert to wind powered. wave powered, solar and hydro and sell the oil based power plants machinery to some other third world or arab country.

PML N installed alot of gas plants. Furnace oil consumption is falling rapidly. Pakistan energy mix has changed since PPP were in charge.
