BrahMos Mk I is Mach 2.8-3, YJ-12 is Mach 2.5

BrahMos is the fastest manoeuvrable cruise missile, and is the only one that can perform supersonic dives.

As per Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) signed by Russia, it can't sell, or jointly develop a missile with a range more than 300km with any country. So, no the range is more or less the same I think.

I don't understand if DRDO can undertake the development of Hypersonic Brahmos, why can't we have a Supersonic LRCM ? It maybe based on russian design but so is our arihant for that matter !!
