I didn't expected this from you.see the rape stats of last year and now current year and you'll know why people are worried about Delhi.all those states you are talking about have very less no. Of rapes when compared to Delhi.
Another thing is that literacy level of Delhi is high.if literate people are doing these kind of things then. Only god knows what happens in illiterate regions.rape is a heinous crime.if we don't set any example in our capital then forget Bihar,up and Kashmir.
People who are telling rape also happens in America-we are not America and never will be.we are India and always will be.
Yesterday it was someone elses daughter/sister/mother that got raped and tommorow it could be yours.

You again took me wrong. I am not saying don't oppose on streets when Delhi rapes happen. But do the same it everywhere. Leave PDF and go to nearby Police Station, use Right to Information act and get the list of rapes and convicts and the status of the cases.

I know it could happen to women in my circle, but point is that won't matter to you as it won't be happening in Delhi. It might happen in my village and you won't go out on streets for me.

See how true it is. I am not down playing Delhi rape case, hell I helped an unknown girl over night because she left her keys in office and was dead scared at 11 p.m in Delhi. I was in other state and called up my friends in Delhi, they went their along with one of our female friend, took her to my friend's hostel for that night. I never met that girl and she was a g.f. of one of my acquaintance.

I know how it feels being worried about your mother and sisters. Try to see what I want people to understand.

But problem with us is that we will crib and cry and fight for another few days and then get into another issue and forget this.... the solution for problem will be Castration for those rapist.... Long term solution is to look at the reasons and back ground of this guys who do this... any normal human being cant do what this guys do....

There are many issues there. The folks you are talking about are from the lower earning levels of the society. One was vegetable seller, one bus driver, one conductor, one gym instructor and the environment they came from is very conservative. In that circle, even talking to a girl is seen very negatively. Sometimes such a thing results in bad thrashing of the guy if lucky otherwise the worst can be far worse. So how can then they chose girls of their choice? More over these folks were uneducated or less educated with no real earning or no real money from the parents so how exactly can they approach any girl? I agree all this leads to the frustration but that can not justify their becoming animals. There are millions others who are living in the same environment and they work hard, raise their families in what ever best way they can. Not every one becomes an animals like them.

The main reason is - These people were with pure criminal mindset with no respect to law of land and that is the reason they did what they did as no other sane people can think of treating a young girl in such a heinous shameful way!!
