I agree with most of your post except the part in the bold because I know who you're referring to. Let's avoid a discussion on that or a discussion on arming the Palestinians. Because that requires a lot of effort and strategy. It isn't black and white, you need military bright thinkers.

It is too long of a discussion and anyone with good ideas should keep it to himself. They should only discuss arming Palestine when there is a real consensus in the Muslim world to do so.

What I meant is that the security of the Palestinians should come first before anything else. Irresponsible people on the Palestinian side should not hijack the cause if it only hurts the Palestinians and the cause as a whole.

As you say then the whole conflict is a mess.

You don't understand what the security of the Palestinian people means nor can you claim anyone is irresponsible. Like I said, this discussion will go nowhere. Just because your leadership and your allies leadership are pushing that notion doesn't mean you need to adopt it.
