Which means that the military will stay till Koirala asks Modi for them to stay. NDRF's job of disaster management and rescue work has been pretty much done. However, the infrastructure part is where the real task comes; rehabiliatating people who have lost everything.

According to Piyush Goyal and Ravi Shank Prasad's tweets, they have sent their officials to help restore power and communication lines across Nepal, along with a huge delegation of BRO, which will be rebuilding the roads and transport network back.

Hence, its proved that Nepal government's decision taking body has some headless chicken too...

Great analysis of the situation.

My hope is that the GoI charges the Nepalese down to the last cent for all this work, it shouldn't be coming for free.

I'll wait for a more reliable source. I find it hard to believe that Nepal asked nations to stop rescue and recovery efforts, especially with the wide scale casualties.
they are asking just to stop rescue mission as no one will be alive now inside the broken home and now they will start cleaning and building the roads which were affected in earthquake and then rehabilitation.

Great analysis of the situation.

We should not forget that Nepali general is also the honorary general of Indian Army too.

It is a rule that nepal is following. The foreign military personal cannot stay in Nepal for more than a particular time frame for rescue ops. This is for all.

Indians have relatives in Nepal and nepalese have relatives in India. Here the scenario is different, willingly or not willingly we Indians have to do it.

There is video of Nepal's Ambassador on link mentioned in OP. That's more credible than twisted stories of Indian media.

I don't think this means much in reality.
yes but in terms of transfer of authority while indian soldiers are working in nepal then they can get direct order from their Nepali general.
hmmmm yes not much practical but somehow it increases the sense of responsibility. You may differ

This isn't how things would work in reality. The Indian forces will work within their own chain of command and lease with the local authorities- it is a sovereign land after all, but they won't receive direct orders outside of their (Indian) chain of command. The IA has sent out a 2 star general for this explicit purpose i.e. liaising with the Nepalese officials.
