IT doesn't make any difference whether we're ranked in any arbitrary list. We make more money than many leading technological countries in some sectors. That is what is most important for us in our current stage of development.

yeah....those 100 billion USD just hatches in eggs, and the auto manufacturing that has made India bigger than even Korea this year and growing, those cars just float down on pixie dust.

Because chinese engineers are so smart you have made high revenue in places like making soft toys, Donald Trmp masks etc. Your technology level is soooooooo great that no one comes to you for technology industries.

I don't know but I'm not really concerned. There might be university rankings+ public lab ranks etc. involved. That's good for analysis but what India needs right now is cash. As long as we're taking home big cash on the tech growth sectors we should be ok no matter what the ranking says.

I don't know but I'm not really concerned. There might be university rankings+ public lab ranks etc. involved. That's good for analysis but what India needs right now is cash. As long as we're taking home big cash on the tech growth sectors we should be ok no matter what the ranking says.

More likely 50% world back office service or more commonly known as call center, but again, India counts it as IT or it is the only IT business India knows about or is known for?

By the way, assembly cars is not going to put you on the top ranking S&T, Mexico makes lots of foreign cars too.
