The context is the same. A person can change over time. What is history is history, when you judge a person, you look at who the person is now and as of recently.

I end my discussion here, I cited the Islamic evidence and the logical evidence. I found it just as frustrating when during PMLN's government, Imran Khan said the people should not pay taxes, it is conceptually wrong and allows people to draw lines wherever they want and on whatever basis they want when the criteria should be undeniable apparent and doubtless evidence.

Taxes are a duty on the people, it's a responsibility which we must fulfill. Two wrongs don't make a right, if you feel that someone did wrong to someone, that doesn't mean you should do wrong to someone else either (i.e the State).

Mate, people don't like to pay taxes...this is a harsh reality of this universe...even in the welfare states of Scandinavia, if people get the opportunity to evade tax, they do..I can give a lot of examples,,even our IKEA's owner does a lot of tricks to avoid taxes through a complex layering of shell companies...
but here the system has been designed so that everyone has to pay the tax and it is so systematic that not paying tax or not declaring your true income will land you in the trouble so most of the people are afraid of those troubles and all transactions are recorded and banking system is online...all salaries have to be paid through banks...That is why some restaurants and small business owners hire the illegal immigrants or refugees so as to pay them less and directly in cash to avoid taxes...

And as you said you gave Islamic references in some of your posts right? so mate you would also know about the Munkireen-e-Zakat ( you can say zakat-refuters or tax-evaders) and how Caliph Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) sent the army to collect the zakat..and do you know when? in one of the weakest moment of Islamic history i.e. soon after the departure of the holy Prophet (Peace be upon him)..even companions like Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) had lost heart and courage and he was advising the caliph Abu Bakr to delay the expedition for a few weeks.. But Abu Bakr did not budge under all that pressure from his position and sent the army to fight an ultimate war... so these are the guidelines... if the govt has to succeed, it has to establish its writ..the badmashiya will scream..and man their screams are pure music and joy for our ears..at least mine . But if IK can't do it, then he is good for nothing and resign honourably and do something else.

Some patwari idiot has to stir up this from time to time to keep people stressed. People should relax and trust the govt.
