Many of us do. Politicians end up with many women because they can. The typical journey of a politician from India is -
Got married at 22 to some village simpleton woman.
Years 20-40 spent as low level political worker.
Years 40-60 spent raking in the booty (both types). Starts mingling with attractive and younger women and whores and women who want to climb the ladder. The already plain jane dehati wife is unattractive by now, but won't ditch him, because she has no skills and is too used to the life of comfort and privileges.

That is all. There are no virtuous reasons for what they do. They are all fucking scumbags who have mind boggling amount of money stashed away in various places through scummy money laundering bastards. Your and my money.
