Sadly it's true, not most of them but you will come across many educated patwaris and some are also teaching in Good Universities with PhD from abroad,

It does make one wonder why educated folks support people like Bilalwal and Maryam and still want to live in a modern form of slavery where the ruling elites always come from few families.

disagree, patwaris are not educated or uneducated, they are the sold out souls.

also ignorance has nothing to do with education,
an illiterate can be a knowledgeable person and a highly educated person can be an illiterate.

this is the psyche of people in Pakistan, they grow up following their elders, same way they grow their thoughts following/influenced by their parents political trend. hence become a product of a certain political party.
but that was when there was no other option but PPP and PML and now they are stick to them. it is hard for an educated person to change the party to vote, ego issue.
besides the culture those parties develop of bribe, corruption and parchi system forced the educated class to follow the path and make things easy for them in the life.

this thing broke with the PTI, besides those who never vote for the corrupt parties, mostly their followers are young people.

but the sad thing is PTI too has people corrupt to the core and they are the real threat to PTI following the footsteps of the other two parties some day.
PTI must bring loyal people to the top, if IK cannot do this will never happen in the future. the only hope can be how young people handle the party in the future.
