Islamabad - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday set an example of simplicity and austerity by bearing the expenses of his family members, including his own, visit to Jeddah via a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) commercial flight.
Besides performing Umra and visiting the Roza-e-Rasool, Nawaz will also meet Saudi King Shah Abdullah and other Saudi high officials during his visit.
Nawaz is also bearing the expenses of both the members of his entourage who are accompanying him. He will return to Pakistan on August 6.
In the past, prime ministers visiting Saudia have been accompanied by huge entourages, and travelled via special aircrafts at the national exchequer’s cost.

or baki sub tou Allah ki dain hai, oper ki kamai... :omghaha:

p.s.

on a serious note: nawaz should seriously cut the expenses of running the govt, we are an indebted nation, so he better take some concrete steps rather than these daramaybaziyan.

well I didnt vote for him, but anyone with half a brain knows that Mr. Baldie at least aint no Zardari --who despite owning palaces in Dubai, chateaus in France, pent-houses in New York and horses worth millions of dollars among other things-- still felt the need to travel in convoys with 200 third-rate ministers and reps and staying at 5-star hotels during foreign trips (on our expense)

Zardari used patronage politics and elbow greasing and that's how that man survived (while Pakistan suffered the most destructive regime in its existence)

Now on Mr. Baldie --by the way, is this an official visit or a personal visit? It's hard to tell -- since he's very close with Al Saud family and in fact he has many lucrative business interests (legitimate ones) in KSA --which is fine, that's his own business

Umra pe 2 lac say ziada karch ata nahe hey ... tu jo itna barha charha kar likha haina "APNAY EXPENSE kud huthay hain" koi bara teer nahe mara... woh jo saath 40 KUTAY BILAY laykar gaya thana China uska expense kisnay uthaya tha ????
