the debt trap

. . .
The global community cannot let a country like Greece go bankrupt. For Pakistan being a nuclear power the results of bankruptcy would be disastrous.

And your entire economic strategy is based on that premise?!! (SLOW CLAP!!)

what on earth do nukes have to do with bankruptcy? Unless of course you are alluding to the fact that world powers may offer a bankrupt Pakistan a bailout package in exchange for their nukes?

yea i think its most likely, pakistan will go bankrupt. all political parties are economic/financial imbeciles.

I was hinting at the possibility of nuclear proliferation. After all nuclear weapons are meant for deterrence.

My dear friend....If Pakistan ever goes bankrupt and seeks a bailout from WB or IMF, you can be sure the first thing that will need to be pledged are your nukes. Pakistan doesn't have any significant assets to pledge. Also, you will see a drastic cut in your military budget and defense related spending in such an eventuality. economic doom will also lead to your military doom.

you guys just don't see it do you?....this is the Game India is playing for many years, pushing you to the bring of economic collapse because it knows that the day that happens, its end game Pakistan.

BUT

I dont see this playing out exactly as stated above.

If Pakistan is on the brink of bankruptcy, i see China stepping in and bailing out Pakistan. Of course, Pakistan will have to pay a very heavy price for it, including cedeing soverignty over large parts of its territory to China, but you guys will have no other option. China does not want a de-fanged Pakistan since Pakistan is one of its main proxies to keep India engaged. So China will bail out Pakistan, let it keep its military and nukes, and exercise complete control over Pakistan.

Pakistanis, being the emotional lot they are, will actually welcome this under the garb of deeper than the ocean and higher than the mountains friendship.

you see my friend, when you sell your soul to the devil, you are no longer alive.

@Ghostwhowalks

Thanks for your concern mate, really appreciated. I have been to Singapore and was very impressed by the cleanliness and discipline there.

Frankly I do not think that there are chances of Pakistan becoming bankrupt now. We came quite close after the nuclear explosion but if we survived that I have reasons to believe that we can survive other challenges as well.

I've shared a thread on this same issue, no one noticed sadly: PML-N Senator exposing PML-N & IMF nexus

Rauf Klasra did a complete program on this issue where this N-League Senator explained all these things in detail. These thugs are deliberately pushing towards disaster.
Koi nayi cheez tau nahi hai...i have been followng news for the past few months and the manner in which loans after loans are taken and above all loans after loans are ISSUED, in itself was self explanatory...that debt trap is being laid and these ******** ishaq and nawaz are pushing our country into what.

.
How about Chinese investment in the CPEC which Pak media commentators wax eloquent about and insist that 'rivers of gold' will soon flow in Pakistan and that Pakistan would become a regional power with the fastest GDP growth in the world?
