Navy Day ad blunder: Advertisement shows Chinese fighter jets instead of Indian

New Delhi: The Indian Navy celebrations turned sour after a Navy Day advertisement showed Chinese fighter jets instead of Indian.

According to media reports, the advertisement showed a Chinese plane instead of those that belonged to Indian Navy or IAF. Reportedly, the ad shows JF-17 fighter jets that China had supplied to Pakistan.

The Navy Day commemorates the victorious and historic attack, termed 'Killers' Night', by the Indian Navy on Karachi port during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.

Even after 24 hours no action has been taken against neither the officials nor the advertising agency responsible for this blunder.
