1) Watching the entire video of the arrival it seems to me as though the PM thought he was inspecting the military guard as they played the anthem which is pretty typical of the arrival ceremonies he has been given in the pastOne gaffe after another. He has been in office for under 2 years, it is a bit premature to call "Make in India" a "flop". Give it another 18-24 months to properly judge how succesful this policy has been. That there seems to be near uniform conensus among global industry leaders that India is more "open for business" now (backed by empircal evidence), FDI is up significantly and India is the fastest growing economy in the world I don't think "flop" is all too fair.it depends on how you see modi.
for me its a case of "YEAH WE ARE GOING TO MAKE INDIA!" but in the end it flops, it always does and its not only india.
