Just like your PC, the content deleted is actually not deleted it just is de-linked just like a bridge is broken in the middle; you connect it and you get to it. Data Restoration is a big business on all levels specially on corporate levels.

Basically imagine you hard drive is like the write protect tab on a flashcard/diskette. You flip the tab and you can't overwrite your stuff. You flip it the other way you can. It's only flipping a tab pointing to memory and not actually erasing it.

The sure way is to copy something large over it so it displaces all the old data.

I was going to use VCR or cassette tape but that probably would have gotten nowhere.

If you want to really wipe data from your disk , you need a program like WinHex

WinHex: Hex Editor & Disk Editor, Computer Forensics & Data Recovery Software

Before discarding your phone ( same for usb drives, hard drives etc ) , connect to your PC , it will get detected as a hard drive then do raw data write to fill the entire storage with '0's , this will wipe everything from your disk

Nope, it won't it can be restored there are specialized software some Home and Business users and it become a multimillion dollar game for corporate data extraction/restoration.

For example a cheap way to restore certain data is use Tuneup Utilities but there is no guarantee all data would be restored for that you'll need to spend alot that's a big game in IT Market.

nope it will still be there , it will just be a lot more smellier along with all the dirty pictures that you stored on the hard disk and thought they were gone because you deleted and emptied the recycle bin.

WinHex is a sure shot way of killing the hard disk , as it can do a blanket write over the entire storage space.

For PCs , you can also use CCleaner CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download
but CClceaner is not as definitive a method as WinHex to kill everything on a storage disk

1- for perverts they have to destroy their phone....which is impossible as most perverts have extra greed...of everything....
2- for sobers, never give your phone to perverts
3- when aroused by any chance, lock your phone in a safe and throw the fking key in the ocean

5- don't believe anyone that he will delete it....as he/she can't delete it....
