NA adopts resolution rejecting 'hostile and threatening' statements made by Trump
August 30, 2017

The National Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution rejecting the "hostile and threatening" statements made by US President Donald J. Trump and Gen John W. Nicholson — the top US commander in Afghanistan.

During the NA session, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif read out the resolution, which was earlier passed unanimously by the lower house.

The resolution categorically rejected Gen Nicolson's claims regarding the existence of the Taliban shura in Peshawar and Quetta.

The NA also disapproved of the "unacceptable targeting of Pakistan" by Trump in his speech while he announced Washington's new South Asia policy.

The resolution further rejected Trump's claim that billions of dollars in aid have been spent on Pakistan, stating that Pakistan's economy has suffered a loss of more than $123 billion. The resolution also denounced the "disregard of the immense sacrifices" made by Pakistan in the war on terror.

The lower house condemned Washington's call for increased Indian involvement in Afghanistan due to "[India's] known support to terrorists and destabilising policies in the region".

The lower house saw the call for an Indian role in Afghanistan's development as "detrimental to regional stability," adding that it was premised on a "failure to understand existing ground realities and challenges in the region."

Reiterating Pakistan's support for India-held Kashmir's (IHK) struggle for self-determination, the lower house condemned the "oppression" of the people of IHK by the Indian state.

Recognising the sacrifices of the armed forces of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism, the house expressed full support for the counter-terrorism operations of the armed forces, Rangers and other law enforcement agencies.

"As a responsible nuclear weapons state, Pakistan has in place a robust and credible command and control system which has been universally recognised," the resolution asserted.

The National Assembly also considered the following steps:
  • The postponement of diplomatic visits between Washington and Islamabad

  • Suspension of cooperation with the US, specifically the provision of ground and air lines of communication through Pakistan

  • Draw and inform the US of a blueprint for the dignified return of all Afghan refugees

  • Formulate economic policies to deal with any situation arising out of the absence of US assistance

  • Commence a diplomatic initiative, particularly in friendly countries in the region, to inform them of Pakistan's counter terrorism strategy and successes and the repercussions in the region of failed US policies while reiterating Pakistan's determination to strengthen control on borders with Afghanistan and demand cooperation and similar action from Afghanistan and ISAF

  • Express concern about increasing concentration of ISIS and other terrorist networks in Afghan provinces bordering Pakistan and demand that Afghanistan, US and its allies close borders for leaders of terrorist groups carrying out acts of terrorism against Pakistan

  • Seek the elimination of all safe havens being provided to Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Jamaatul Ahrar and other terrorist organisations in Afghanistan from where terror attacks are carried out against Pakistan

  • Push the US, Nato and Afghan govt to ensure that India is denied use of Afghan territory to attack Pakistan

  • Reiterate a commitment to constructively engage with the US on the full spectrum of bilateral relations based on the principle of reciprocity and mutual respect

  • Reiterate Pakistan's desire for peace and stability in Afghanistan and urge the government to continue its efforts to strengthen its relation with the Afghan government and support efforts for peace.

let me repeat the facts

India Runs special cell to sabotage CPEC. and provided funds to mercenaries. India has been doing the same what once indian National Security Advisory said.

"How do you tackle Pakistan?.....We start working on Pakistan's vulnerabilities-- economic, internal security, political, isolating them internationally, it can be anything..... it can be defeating Pakistan's policies in Afghanistan...... You stop the terrorists by denying them weapons, funds and manpower. Deny them funds by countering with one-and-a-half times more funding. If they have 1200 crores give them 1800 crores and they are on our side...who are the Taliban fighting for? It's because they haven't got jobs or someone has misled them. The Taliban are mercenaries. So go for more of the covert thing (against Pakistan)..." Ajit Doval, India's National Security Advisor

U.S provided India the opportunity & India started to play with proxies against Pakistan. it's an open secrete.

on the other hand U.S.

US was aware of Afghan Taliban leadership's presence in Pakistan.

U.S is not aware of Afghan Taliban leadership's presence in Pakistan due to many military operation. all the militants & Taliban leadership have moved to Afghanistan including Haqqani Network after successfully military operation. U.S is talking about Past & deliberately stick with past. U.S commanders are most welcome to visit Quetta & pishawar. shura is nothing but the old tribe Jirga system.

right now all the safe heaven in Afghanistan not in Pakistan. U.S should not have ignored India's bad deeds which india did using afghan soils to destabilize Pakistan, U.S should not ignore Pakistan military Operations, U.S should think with cool mind. Pakistan is not hasty.

if there is India's role to destabilize Pakistan in Afghanistan then "do more" should be "no more". because U.S always ignore bad deeds of India infect ignored the Ajit Doval statement, U.S ignored kulbhushan jadhav confession and helped India's motive against Pakistan & still U.S asking for "Do more".

Pakistan is a problem, if Pakistan block NATO supply otherwise Pakistan dont have any role in Afghanistan. as British afghan war veteran major Robert Gallimore said

"British Afghan war veteran Major Robert Gallimore says he saw no presence of ISI in Afghanistan. During his two tours of duty in Afghanistan, he could hear all the radio conversations going on but never heard any Pakistani accent. He did, however, see "buckets and buckets of money" and rising Indian influence with many in Afghan Army blaming Pakistan for all their problems. Pakistan is their bogeyman. Major Gallimore sees the emergence of an India-Pakistan 21st century "Great Game" similar to its British-Russian predecessor. Many Afghans support creation of Pashtunistan by annexing northern part of Pakistan into Afghanistan. They blame Pakistan for the Durand Line, not the British or their own leaders who agreed to it. As a result, Afghanistan has become much more volatile and dangerous than ever before".

if Taliban holds more then half territory, is this Pakistan fault ? even Pakistan dont have any influence now. what other countries are doing in Afghanistan those have influence ? to get rid of the mess. but the fact is that U.S never wants to eradicate the U.S created mess in Afghanistan because U.S wants presence for indefinite time.

if U.S was really serious then U.S could have won this war long time before. U.S had every chance to win this war by negotiating with Taliban but U.S disrupted all the effort by Pakistan to ensure the peace in Afghanistan by killing Taliban leader after dealing peace talk. and right now once again U.S wants to deal with Taliban. what a shame.

here is the fact
U.S supports Taliban offices in Qatar (financial network) and on the other hand U.S dictate to others that fight with Taliban. (hypocrisy).. trump afghan policies are contradicting his own statements. first remove the Taliban offices in Qatar then destroy their financial network then talk for peace. as i told you before U.S never ever wanted to win this war. because U.S never want peace all are dramatic polices toward Afghanistan. Money is nothing for U.S but to show the good image and to get objectives are the real target.

and here are the U.S objectives.
1. pressurize Pakistan to clear the path for U.S
2. pressurize India to invest money so trump can continue his policy toward U.S economy.
3. pressurize Afghanistan that we are not a blank cheque for you which means Afghanistan has to pay back.
4. manage U.S presence at strategic location of Afghanistan for indefinite time.
5. pressurize the region including all major regional powers from within Afghanistan.

and more facts are.
1. U.S could have won this war a long time before. but U.S wants excuse to be present in Afghanistan.
2. Blame every country those oppose the idea of U.S presence in Afghanistan.
3. create proxies so regional countries will be helpless to accept U.S demands.
4. work with ally who has same objective and then kick off.

To have a permanent presence in the region next to a nuclear Pakistan is also something the neo-con component of his administration will be pushing for strategic reasons. To have China covered from as many directions as possible is also something the US will be looking at, he could deploy an ABM in Afghanistan and irk China, they also want to be bordering Iran.

all the neighbors of Afghanistan know about it very well (Iran, Pakistan, China, Turkmenistan even Russia too). America is not hitting ISIS or Taliban very hard. it's just a drama we can only consider so called "hard hitting" if U.S destory ISIS & Taliban financial network from Arab countries. Pakistan cant be financial network because Pakistan has weak economy and eradicating terrorism successfully and securing the border. infect ISI does not have any influence in Afghanistan now. so the countries those have influence in Afghanistan they are basically the responsible behind every proxy war within Afghanistan. U.S supporting those proxies and fighting against those proxies to fool us. U.S could have won infront of world when Pakistan negotiated with Taliban for peace talk in Afghanistan on behalf of U.S but U.S killed the negotiator and now U.S Cant win without negotiating Taliban those hold more then half territory of Afghanistan.

Unanimous resolution: NA condemns Trump's anti-Pakistan remarks

Published: August 30, 2017

The National Assembly adopted a unanimous resolution on Wednesday, condemning US President Donald Trump’s statement pertaining to Pakistan’s role in their new Afghan policy.

Trump, in his statement on August 21, had accused the country of harbouring terrorists on its soil and providing safe haven to them.

“The National Assembly of Pakistan rejects the unacceptable targeting of Pakistan by US President Trump in his statement on Afghanistan and South Asia,” read the resolution.

“NA also rejects claims of General Nicholson, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato) commander in Afghanistan, regarding existence of Taliban shuras in Quetta and Peshawar.”

Senate adopts initial response to Trump’s regional policy statement

Given India’s known support, the communique continued, and its destabilising policies in the region, the House condemns attempts by the US administration to provide more space to India in Afghanistan and considers it a move highly detrimental to regional stability.

“The resolution rejected the US claim of giving Pakistan billions of dollars in aid,” it said. “In fact, Pakistan’s economy has suffered a loss of more than 123 billion dollars.”

The House also acknowledged the sacrifices of security forces in their counter-terrorism operations and extended full support to the country’s armed forces.

Earlier in the day, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah called for a joint session of Parliament to give a strong response to the United States’ new Afghan policy.

Parliament should implement this resolution Also..And keep an hawk eye on Army Generals also because they have so many friends in US.If any body work against this resolution and make a deal with US.Kill him...

.
Fine example of Pakistani people representation at work safeguarding Pakistani interest. Now to make sure other institutions and people who are responsible to carry out the the people resolution do not differ.

One VERY important requirement is Pakistan do not engage any back channel deal communication with US. Rather, expose US, Kabul stooge regime and indian activities. At the same time purse Pakistan, China, Russia and Iran track to find resolution to oust US backed afghan stooges and indian terrorist cells.

Lets see if the NA has the balls to actually put them to affect. Talk is cheap, lets see how far we are really willing to go in actual and not just for public consumption.
If they are really implemented in true spirit, things will be a lot different and while their maybe hardships on the short term but in the long term it was prove to be very useful as the time cannot be more right than now to convey to the world specially the US not to take our friendship for granted.

you looks like disappointed may i know why ? yup talk is cheap just like trump did. he insulted the whole nation with his allegation and still U.S commanders are emphasizing and propagating that ISIS too has Pakistani safe heaven. U.S is not willing to understand Pakistan's reservation at any cost despite Pakistan suffered alot economically and socially. Mr.Trump indication is to deliberately impose the Indian narrative on Pakistan and we cant tolerate this no matter what. didn't you realize that all the bias allegation which India used to say in past the same statements Mr.Trump revised in his cheap speech. and not only whole nation but regional countries especially Afghanistan's neighbors criticized on Mr.Trump speech. i will not go with anyone in billion years if someone take me wrong and blame me as scapegoat, i prefer my respect then the benefits specially after many scarifies & what Pakistan got yet is nothing infect lost more then 100$ billion but if some one cant respect my scarifies i better to stay away. and this is actually the Pakistan's nation opinion. either Mr.Trump apologize which he will surely not or he should fulfill Pakistan's reservations first.

No thanks i am ready to die & save my motherland instead some one spit on it. how dare anyone can brutally insult my motherland with BS allegation. i didn't expect it from U.S, let me tell , you dont need to be disheart if you really love your motherland if you cant then better to stay away.
