Bangalore may be the cleanest in Indian standards but it's nothing like it used to be 15 years ago.. It was much more cleaner and pleasant than now.. I found it chaotic and a mess two years ago when i visited last.. Pity

P.S: Posting arial pics of cities proves nothing when it comes to sanitation

whole country's basically a dump with patches of clean strewn around.

Bangalore is a dump for most part except the central areas. If Bangalore is considered clean shudder to think about the rest of the country.

If they properly took care of those old buildings in Delhi, imagine how good it can look. It's the nation's capital, they need to start doing something.

Heyyy.. Bangalore:yahoo: Bangalore :yahoo: Bangalore :victory:
Relax buddy! I think Bangalore is one of the dirtiest unplanned cities this side of the Suez! The traffic sucks and the garbage stinks to hell and high Heaven and most roads are pretty fuked up!

Man, even the posh Brigade Road and Commercial Street beg attention as garbage is strewn all over, and broken footpaths and their shitty roads which have not been repaired since the past decade!

Doesn't seem you travel by road too often around Bangalore! Here's what 90% of Bangalore's footpaths are like. Does anyone care?

How Bangalore has been nominated as the 'cleanest capital' and 7th 'cleanest city' is astonishing!

It was once called a 'Garden City'. And now? :hitwall: Nuff said!

Cleanliness isn't all about maintenance of buildings.

It isn't, but a nation that spends on maintenance of old heritage buildings, would by default be passionate enough about cleanliness.

Across Europe you'll see 200-400 years old buildings, and they are designated as protected heritage. But then, the nations that take care of them are also very clean. It should be a national habit, that's all i am saying.
