What's new

Myanmar troops open fire on civilians fleeing attacks.

Lol. We have illegals too. In that case what should we do? Attack BD? We have refugees from Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan and 40k Rohingyas. We cant go and attack everyone for sending refugees to us. Diplomatic is the best solution. Burma hasnt interfered in BD internal affairs. So if u dont want them, dont let them in.
Small number of refugee which does not even warrant a refugee camps and sending 1/2 a million and do it periodically is different thing.

In a duet the person wins who is willing to die. According to mm official statement rohingyas looted 48 fire arms from mm security forces with primitive weapons in their hand.

desperate people do desperate things

that said you have no chance against an army that out to massacare every human being. you could take a few
soldiers down with you.

33 billion US dollar reserves is much needed to buy rice from Myanmar and Cambodia as Bd farmland keep eroded in large as global warming effect had starting taking toll. Bd cant spent much more than five billion US dollar annualy for military yet talking big about starting war against Myanmar who got backing from several large Countries

Why do you not do some research before opening your mouth?
The shortage of rice is due to floods and nothing else.

Missed the bit where BD is spending 4 billion US dollars of it's own money to build Padma bridge?
When BD wants something badly it finds the money.

Most of the insurgent are doing great in MM including Arakan Army who has our blessings. Our gvt is too afraid to arm rohingyas as we know how dangerous they could be. But looks like rohingyas are winning the trust.

Many of these will end up in India via Bangladesh as illegal refugees:undecided:
Why can't they go to those rich Arab countries ?

1000 curses to Nehru and Gandhi for making India secular nation. India needs a strong government like Myanmar.

You are a retard.

Is BD making it's own people stateless and saying they are Indian?

Keep out of this matter as it is between BD and Myanmar. Since BD is more powerful it will
impose it's will on Myanmar

What myanmar does to its people is jack of ur concerns. If they send refugees u can either choose to accept it or deny them. Ask them for a diplomatic solution. Arming them will make it bad for them. Anyway talking to a fanboys wont make sense for me.

Bye,

Bye,

Calling them BD'shi makes them our concern.

Anyway no civilised country can stand by
while genocide happens next door.

Myanmar has the ability to play India, China, USA and ASEAN against each other. 5x numerical superiority does not translate into military superiority. the bangladesh-myanmar border is 250 km. it is easy to defend a border of small length
All out war is highly improbable.Small to medium intensity clash along the border is not out of possibility. But in that type of clash, psychological impact will be huge compared to the man and material loss.Vast majority of the people of Bangladesh are apathetic to the defence matter.Such type of clash will wake up the people and govt. to the need of strong defence. If you don't know, our current military modernization and expansion program was catalyzed partly because of the naval stand-off between Bangladesh and Burma in 2008 over hydrocarbon drilling in Bay of Bengal. And if Bangladesh take defence seriously even as half of what burmese take, then Burmese are f*cked. BD's size of economy is 4 times bigger than Burma and growing slightly faster than them.

being 4x does not translate into military outcomes you like

When BD wants something badly it finds the money.

And every year BD got flooded like crazy, and the affected area keep increasing by each passing year and thats a fact, do some research first. @Banglar Bir got the thread about the recent floods and trendi in Bd.

Yeach, Bd using 4 billion US dollar from their own money to built Padma bridge because World Bank, ADB and other ruling out the loan and donor option because alleged coruption case, and thats leave Bd government without option else using yearly budget to finance the project. Thats not an achievement at all actually @Nilgiri

And the big LOL is, actually BD can spared 4 billion US dollar to financing other project (including military, healthcare, other ifrastructure and education) but they cant because the Padma bridge project had lost their would be financier and donor. In business thats what we called losing opportunity.

You should not salivate at looking those burmese savage.Your bharat is already a Hindu extremist country with all type of minority oppression and attack.Just because you have put 'secular' word on constitution doesn't make you secular.

Where did you get this bullshit? This type of flood occur once in decade or even less.Last significant flood like this happened in 2004.Most of the year, we don't even notice whether a flood is happening somewhere. And there is no equivalent of @Banglar Bir in Indian forum, otherwise you have known, this flood caused more damage and destruction and casualties in order of magnitude several times greater in India than Bangladesh.

How is she mental? There is a clear flatlining in BD FDI at very low pathetic level for years now.

That means everything foreign liquidity wise is loan based...given BD stock market market cap and complexity is also 4th rate at best.

Means opportunity costs will always rear its ugly head for any project in BD because you are seriously liquidity deprived country....that too you have only yourselves to blame for that (your inability to improve, utter denial of or even love of having a corruption-ridden, low-institutional capacity environment)

You think "The Economist" is a mental patient when they put Dhaka right alongside warzone cities like Damascus and Tripoli for liveability?

.
No. The junta is much worse. At least Aung has recently tried to cater to China. The junta repeatedly shells China during their border skirmishes and sends drugs over the border.

They belong to the same two faced crony group.

Aung tried to play nice because otherwise they know that China is going to teach them a serious lesson.
