I think if they demand nominal charges it is not bribe it happens in every country in form of waterbill up to1000rs per tanker for filling water tank completely but if they charge huge amount then it should be stopped

FGEHF Tankers cost 400 Rupees
While CDA tankers cost 500-600 rupees
Other private tankers from tube wells cost 800 rupees nowadays which goes upto 1500 in summer

Initially PM office should be involved and once the system is working properly then it should be decentralised gradually. Right now the Babus do not want to work so decentralising immediately will be an axe on own foot situation.

We also have to remember that the fundamental change will take time as society at large also changes and starts taking personal responsibility and standing up against corruption.

Well, It is good for the concerned individual..however for overall judgement on tabdeeli, a lot more needs to be considered.

The system is already decentralised and all the complains reach to the highest possible position in that area so it could be resolved immediately.
In this case it went to the PM cause after the abolition of CADD Ministry CDA comes directly under the PM so his office was notified of this complain.

Good change however I dont agree that the stupid bribe guy didnt get sacked and 2ndly I also dont agree on free tanker! Sorry but in a poor country....
