How exactly is Makkah or madina in trouble when it's the saudies attacking another nation.
The Houthis have threatened to march on KSA, take Makkah and go to Riyadh to overthrow the Saudi regime, The Saudis responded by attacking the Houthis.
Do not get me wrong, I do not like this at all, and think that Yemeni people deserve a better life.
But, believe it or not the Yemeni problems are more complex than the Afghani ones, although it involves the latter somehow through Al Qaeda since the soviet invasion of Afghanistan, and now the name of the game is Shia (automatically Iran!) Houthis against Sunni SA...
One will get crazy fast enough trying to sort out all the (almost daily) changing allegiances in the Yemeni politics. The US has failed (yet again!) in Yemen and now is asking the Arabs to take care of their own problems (created by US-Usrael, I am involving the latter because it has a big Yemeni Jewish community and knows the internal dynamics of the Yemeni society and how to stir some age old tribal rivalries through psychological/emotional means knowing pretty well how the majority of Yemen's population is vulnerable to such manipulations due to lack of education.), although with some US support...
I personally think that any outcome from Arab's intervention in their own backyard will be much better than any outcome from foreign interventions, as was proven in Iraq, Afghanistan (to an extent, considering the after effects on Pakistan too), Libya, Yemen and Syria, to name a few...
