Yeah, them and the Balkans have some severe issues regarding their Muslim past. Like our Indian friends they miss us so much, that remind each other every day how great it was to be ruled by the mighty Muslims .

I had a Bulgarian in my religion class. He was messed up in the head about muslims. For hours he would regurgitate Soviet/Anti Muslim propoganda.

For 3 hours he kept on asking me "why do you guys have a guy sing 5 times a day that horrible song ever yday".

I would calmly answer its the azan-call to prayer. 5x a day. It's just a part of our religion. His second question would be yeah but why does it have to be on a loud speaker?

He kept going round n round in circles with these 2 questions.

In between he said in our city. A bunch of us just went there knocked down the minaret and the speaker. And drove the muslims out our town/city.

Then continued the cycle.

For 3 goddamn hours.

ALL in front of my "left wing liberal" gora religion professor. It was the three of us. Me, Bulgarian and the professor.

And I noticed later, when the online class would finish, the professor and him would stick around and talk about how "evil" Islam is.

Basically every country in eastern Europe hate Muslims with passion and have had deep conflict between each other for centuries.

Had it not being for the ethnic cleansing and deportations since 1900s, half of the Balkans would’ve been Muslims by now since Muslim birthrates are 2x higher.

A Macedonian I know hates Greeks so much and even brag about it openly so I asked him why did you join them in the rebellion against the Ottomans then? The conversation then turned very awkward.

They were actually pagan turks who mixed with slavs converted to christianity completely forgot their ancestors and now have inferiority complex towards turks and islam because they are brainwashed by the church for more than 100 years
They need to be spanked and reminded of their true origins
A proper camp re-education is necessary

Bulgarians may have turkic ancestors but I dont consider them Turkic or Turk and never will.

A lot of Bulgarians deny the Bulgars were Turkic now they are trying to take credit for Volga Bulgaria these bulgarians are now trying to tell Volga Turks that they are not Turkic.

I dont care if people tell me to respect bulgarians they are not Turkic they even deny it while bulgarian nationalists use Turkic symbols like the IYI banner.

Hungarians in a way are trying to connect to their Turkic cousins while Bulgarians do this pathetic shit just because of Ottoman rule.

We need to let it go the Bulgarians are nothing more than slavisied and follow orthodox christianity. Their religion plays a role in their hate of the Turks.
