Muslims in Britain should take counter-extremism lessons: Tahir ul Qadri

Bhai! He speaks the truth. Islam is the true religion and the only one accepted by Allah.

Why have Muslims since the end of the cold war been targeted? The first article written was in 1994 in the Economist - Islam the next threat! The West needs an ENEMY! It went through all the religions and said, Islam is a complete religion with its own Economic, Political, Judicial Systems.

No it is not. If you claim otherwise show evidence. Quoting some vaguely translated passage from Quran et al doesn't count since others can quote similar sources to the contrary.

Islam has only been targeted by muslims as evidenced by the mass killings and bombings of so called muslim countries by muslims themselves. If you deny this fact you are lying.

What the western countries, Israel, India et al target are the terrorist jihadis. Even Pak army says they are targeting terrorist jihadis. Are you claiming that terrorists are the ones that define Islam?

Get of your brainwashed stupor and learn to live as human being at peace with others.

I quoted you the translation as I was not aware you understood Arabic. It is good you understand Arabic as the language in the Quran is proof itself that it's the word of Allah.

Muslims have and are being targeted. That does NOT give (MUSLIMS) right to commit terrorism. We don't take lessons from disbelievers! We are a Ummah that ruled for 1,000 + years from Western shores of Africa to the Far-East. Go an read up on our history and then come back and talk to me.

“We must put an end to anything which brings about any Islamic unity between the sons of the Muslims. As we have already succeeded in finishing off the Caliphate, so we must ensure that there will never rise again unity for the Muslims, whether it be intellectual or cultural unity.” Lord Curzon, Former British Foreign Secretary (1911-1924)

I do not now Arabic at all. something stated in Quran and whatever you understand it to mean do not constitute proof of anything. There are hundreds of things stated in the Quran which sound quite bizarre if taken outside context (to say rhe least). In many cases the context itself is absolutely invalid and unacceptable (eg rules of punishment, slavery, interest etc).

Why do you need a book or islam or something else to tell you how to live in peace with others? why do you feel it necessary to prove or disprove anything about god? do you feel you are superior to xians, jews, hindus, bhuddhists, sikhs etc? why?

well what do you expect? you admit muslims do not have the right to commit terrorism, yet they do. Others do too but the proportion is highest for muslims. That being the case why would you not expect others to try and stop it growing further?

Stop quoting things from 6th century or 1911! look at what is happening now. muslim kkids are being radicalized using internet, muslim women from UK are being tantalized into serving as harem property for ISIS jihadis! what are you doing to stop that?

do you have any idea how many people have been killed in Pakistan vs how many in India, U or USA? It is in Pakistan that people are being murdered enmasse. If you are going to close your eyes and keep repeating the same BS forget about it

What are WE (Ummah) doing today to counter this statement/strategy? Don't you think the blame is on us not THEM.

Mr UK is involved in murder of Muslims and attacking our lands your denial will not change the fact.

However, there is more to it than context to content with. Is there anything specific you want to know? Be free to ask me anything and insha'Allah I'll answer with supporting evidences. .

You have gone off-topic, I will answer you: We as humans are created to worship Allah alone. Allah has given us a manual how to live and conduct ourselves.

Brother, to prove the existence of Allah does not affect me as I believe through knowledge. It affects those who are not believers in Islam as their dwelling is Hell fire for ever. Can someone take that chance? At least not even looking into it?

I quoted you Lord Curzon's speech from 1911 so that, people like you realise that this is an old war. In 1900, it was called ''Operation Mad Mulla''. Today, it's called ''War on Terror'. At the end of the day, it all amounts to the same thing killing Muslims and subjugating us.

Albert Pike spoke of this in 1800s.

You live in Roman lands, so this hadith relates to people like you:

Nuaim Ibn Hammed reported on his chain of narration on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Masood, that the Messenger of Allah (Peace and Blessings Be Upon him) said:

"The Romans will attack those Arabs who reside in their land, until not a single Arab man or woman or child remains in their land but that they shall be killed by the Romans." (Kitab Al Fitan, Bab Al Aamaq wa fath al Constantiniya, page 260)

Note: This hadeeth mentions Arabs residing in the Roman lands not Muslims, and today Muslims are racially sterotyped and profiled as being "Arabs". wallahu alam

Muslims in Britain should take counter-extremism lessons: Tahir ul Qadri

London:
Every Muslim in Britain should be made to take counter-extremism lessons at school to prevent radicalisation, a Pakistani politician and senior Islamic scholar has said.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that lessons on “peace”, “counter-terrorism” and “deradicalisation” should be made part of the national curriculum in state schools.
He said the subjects should be made compulsory for all Muslim students in the country and optional for non-Muslim children.
It comes as more than 700 Britons have travelled to the Middle East to fight alongside Isil, with around half believed to have returned to the UK.

David Cameron recently criticised Muslim communities who “quietly condone” extremism and defended British authorities who have been blamed by the families of some who have fled east.

Dr Qadri, a Pakistani politician and Sufi Islamic scholar, told BBC Radio Four’s Today programme that Britain should tackle the problem of radicalisation early through the state education system.

He said that while the Muslim community should bear responsibility for talking the problem “first of all” the government can also act through schools.

“It should be on the curriculum. Peace should be taken as peace studies as a subject. Deradicalsation should be taken as a subject. Counter-terrorism should be taken as a subject,” Dr Qadri said.

“The problem is that we have not been addressing this issue on the theological front and on the ideological front. We have been taking it just as a political, economic and social issue.”

He later added: “We should try to influence the generations – whether second or third of fourth – to always be peaceful and always condemn the act of extremism, act of terrorism wherever it is.

“It should be put on the curriculum, it should be made compulsory for Muslim generations, Muslim students, and it should be made optional for non-Muslim students.”

“But they should be taught the actual real teachings of the Koran … based on love and tolerance and coexistence and togetherness.”

Such a move could prove controversial, with some likely to warn forcing Muslim children to take anti-extremism lessons away from other children could further alienate them.

However the proposals reflect a growing unease about the scale of the problem of radicalisation in Britain and elsewhere with the emergence and establishment of Isil.

Mr Cameron used a major speech in Bratislava, Slovakia, last week to call on more to be done by Muslim communities themselves to stop radicalisation.

“We’ve always had angry young men and women buying into supposedly revolutionary causes. This one is evil, is it contradictory, it is futile but it is particularly potent today,” the Prime Minister said.

“I think part of the reason it’s so potent is that it has been given this credence.

"So if you’re a troubled boy who is angry at the world or a girl looking for an identity, for something to believe in, and there’s something that is quietly condoned online or perhaps even in parts of your local community then it’s less of a leap to go from a British teenager to an Isil fighter or an Isil wife than it would be for someone who hasn’t been exposed to these things.”

A Department of Education spokesperson said: “All schools must actively promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those of different faiths and beliefs.

“Ofsted inspect schools to ensure they comply with this requirement, where schools do not we take swift action, which may involve changing the school leadership or closing the school.

“In addition from 1 July all schools will have a statutory duty to prevent pupils from being drawn into terrorism - this will include safeguarding against radicalisation and checking the speakers they bring in to school.”

Another publicity stunt and drama. Tahir Padri is disfranchised with the reality of the UK Muslims. Considering that most UK Muslims reject him and his activities this comes of no surprise. And who welcomes him? Quillam Foundation, an outright critic of everything traditional Islam stands for!

Why UK, i ask you Tahir Padri? Why not Pakistan? or your country Canada?

Tahir Padri wants to tackle the issue ideologically and theologically. He claims to be a Sufi and a scholar. I ask him, what ideology are you fighting against? Wahabism? If that is the case, is your curriculum anti-salafi or anti-wahabi theology? How is this compatible with counter-terrorism and peace?

So Tahir Padri wants Muslim children in the UK to learn Deen from a state run non-Muslim education system in a secular country? Clearly, this is a design to brainwash or push Muslim kids in the UK [ in the name of countering terrorism ] towards secular / athiestic / anti-islamic rhetoric that is prevalent in western democratic systems

Then why did they chose to go there instead of Saudi Arabia?

Not them, their parents, who went there for better economic life, education, and living standards.

Mirpuris went there for a better life.

Better than beheading people in ISIS eh?

.
British muslims are turning extremist by large droves.. and are coming to Pakistan to get further indoctrinated.

It is only certain minorities within the salafi minority in the UK [ areas like croydon, green lane etc ] where youngsters become extremist. It cannot be generalized to British Muslims who are overwhelmingly non-salafi [ taken by the mosque count in the country ]

Who needs to come to Pakistan when you have mullahs like Anjum Chuadry in UK

anjum is not even a mullah. he is a faker on the payroll of the enemies of islam to defame islam

i ask what are anjum's religious qualifications? is he in anyway a qualified scholar within his own sect of qutbi salafis? i dont think so. Never got any proper islamic education within any salafi school anywhere in the world; neither did his teacher
