Muslim woman from Hyderabad sold in Oman by travel agent in Dubai

Hyderabad: Rubina Fatima 46 from Vatepally was sold in Oman by a Gulf travel agent. She was promised a salary of Rs.80,000 as a maid in Dubai. On arrival, her in Dubai on February 3, Md Abdul Sattar of Ababil Group Tours and Travels took Rubina to Oman.


She was then sold to Rajat Arabi in Oman. Since then, she is being continuously transported from one place to another and is forced to do odd jobs.

“Since three months my wife is facing trouble and she is also being assaulted by people there. They are not providing her food and medicines. She is also not allowed to come back to India although her visit visa has expired. She is being detained there illegally” said her husband Ghulam Hyder.

He also said, “We have filed a complaint to Falaknuma police about this with the help of Mr Amjadullah Khan. We never knew what to do. It was Mr Khan who helped us. He has also requested the external affairs minister to get my wife back to India.”

Mr Amjadullah Khan said, “It’s very important to understand that the number of migrants facing problems is increasing in Telangana and it’s the need of the hour that the government of Telangana addresses this issue and orders the police to book these agents under the PD Act. The agents are now being booked only for cheating. They are coming out on bail and continuing their business. Strong action should be taken against the agents.”

Inspector of Falaknuma said, “We have booked the agents under Section 420 and are hopeful that the external affairs ministry will help the family”, as reported in DC.

Hyderabadi girls working abroad forced into prostitution

A girl from Karimnagar had gone to Oman to work as a domestic servant. When she fell sick due to continuous work, her employer insisted her to work and she was not given the promised salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. She was getting only Rs. 9,000. She was rescued from Oman.


Another girl from Hyderabad who went to Malaysia was given a job of waitress in Ipoh city. After sometime, her employer who was a woman forced her into flesh trade. She was also rescued with two other women working at the hotel. The employers were arrested.

According to the news published in DC, Another woman who was married 10 years back has a nine-year-old daughter, studying in Class IV. She got divorced from her husband six years back following family disputes. She started manufacturing bidis to earn money but she was not getting enough income. Meanwhile an agent exploited her poverty. She went to Dubai where she was sold to another agent, who shifted her to Oman for work. After reaching Oman her passport was seized and she was physically and mentally abused.

In another incident, Asima Khatoon who was divorced and had lost her father went to Riyad, Saudi Arabia through an agent by paying Rs. 1.5 lakh on a visit visa. Her sponsor, Abdur Rahman Ali Mohammed employed her as domestic help. Two months back she telephoned her mother complaining that her sponsor is physically and mentally harassing her. Her mother lodged a complaint with Rain Bazar Police and a letter was written to NRI Cell, Govt. of Telangana. Govt. wrote a letter to Indian Embassy, Riyad but no action was taken. Six days back, she was hospitalized for chest pain where she died.

There are many such cases where poor women are exploited and forced into prostitution.

Exploiting poor for jobs is very bad. Can't this much touted super Sharia law do something ??

Where ever you go in this World it is difficult to get a single person who is not greedy for money forget about handicapped, women or age. Now, this World needs name, fame and money only, lest no HUMANITY is left anymore.

Sharia clearly states, non-Quraishi male is not a match (Kuf) for a Quraishi woman, nor can any person of non-Arab descent be a match for a woman of Arab descent no matter that he be an Aalim (religious scholar) or even a Sultan (ruling authority)


Arabs have a term for Non-Arabs. Those who have grown up in Mumbai must know that is, Its MAWALI.

"Mawali" means those with lower social standing e.g. slaves who converted to islam etc. Second class citizens.

These are the Non Arab converts like the pakistanis and Indians

Just above a "Kafir" in the social standing.

Another torture tale of Hyderabadi woman in Saudi Arabia

Hyderabad: 45-year-old woman, Khairun Bi was one among the five women who were sent to Riyadh on December 14, 2016, by travel agent Ali Shah Basha and his sister by assuring Rs 25,000 monthly salary, to work as domestic servant. However she was cheated. Her family approached South Zone DCP V Satyanarayana on Wednesday alleging that she was being tortured by her employers. A case, under section 420 (cheating) of the IPC, has been registered against the travel agent, who had sent Khairun Bi to Saudi Arabia.


Her daughter Hameeda Begum, R/O Talabkatta, informed the police that the travel agent Basha and his sister approached them saying that a Riyadh-based family was looking for a domestic helper (khadima). It was told by them that the woman had to take care of just four children. Khairun Bi accepted the offer as she had to take care of her handicapped son.

Hameeda further narrated that her mother never spoke to her family after going to Saudi and whenever she approached the travel agent, he sent her away saying that her mother was doing well.

However last Tuesday, Hameeda received a call from a woman who speaking in Telugu, told her that Khairun was suffering from diabetes and thyroid problems and her condition was very bad. The woman also sent Khairun’s videos on WhatsApp, in which she was seen crying in agony,” DCP Satyanarayana said.

MBT leader Amjadullah Khan revealed that Khairun was being made to work for four to five households and the employers were not even providing for her basic medical facilities. Mr. Khan tweeted external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and got a call from our embassy in Saudi Arabia. The embassy officials managed to locate Khairun. The embassy instructed the employer to immediately shift the victim to a hospital and later send her to Hyderabad.
