Muslim villagers donate money to build church for Christian community in Pakistan

And generally speaking, the solution lies in providing better coverage yourself rather than expecting others to do it for you.
yourself? what "yourself" ?
`You want every individual or community to start a media channel?
You are missing the point but that was yesterday and something strange was going on with you and "Pakistan".
Hope you will read again and understand my post better today. :p:
This wont make to the news, that attack was all over the place. The truth is simple for those who want to understand, no news is as good as bad news. Criticism and bashing is what sells best and that is what people are interested in. Plain and simple. If that was not the case, the frequency of good things happening is not any far behind the frequency of bad things. Only a man killed in bomb blast will get more air time then a man saved by someone. This is how things are.
It is about HOW the media is, period. :)
You wont get anything in here to criticize unless you add something from yourself

Pakistan can itself invest more into creating the type of adulatory media coverage it wishes to see since other established media channel will not do it for Pakistan.

let me mention it again, it was never about Pakistan dear. :)
So there is no need to talk negative about this :P

Ali we have been communicating on various issues for quite some time now right? Just let me try and tell you one thing that you may be able to understand. Criticizing something just for the sake of it is as problematic as appreciating something purely out of personal love for it. There are good's and bad's to every other thing and a sane neutral person must identify both. This is not about this thread, not about this topic, it is simple a general friendly advise that i hope you will understand but wont try to connect it to something in particular because there is nothing like that.

anyway, again, it was not about media in Pakistan.

On topic, it was nice to see this happening and i hope message of tolerance spreads across the nation, that is something that will actually address so many of our problems.

Yes, the message of tolerance needs all the support it can get to spread more widely in Pakistan.

I agree but that does not mean we should not talk about the bad or ugly of society-our society. This is a good venture by the muslim villagers but we should not deny or avoid mention of evil things done to the nations Christians or Hindus. It is our job to raise hell and get the people their rights, rights that have been violated.

. . . .
Of course. Let us appreciate the baby steps.

Praise the good people who donated to build the church. I wonder how many of them will now share eating utensils with the Christians as an expression to their true brotherly love and understanding for fellow man?

Of course, as long as we talk about what WE do wrong and do so with aim of getting that thing right, you may not find anyone more ready then me. :) We need to realize our mistakes in order to fix them, AND, we must appreciate whatever little is happening to fix that or whatever little positive thing happens.

What would be truly inspiring if the Christians and the Muslims in the OP actually sat down at a table or dastarkhwaan and shared a meal together. That would be an optimistic sign.
