The swearing-in ceremony for the March 2016 cycle of Desert Reconnaissance Battalion soldiers was held on Thursday at the Memorial Monument to the Bedouin Warriors with the majority of the sworn-in soldiers being Muslim. Before their commanders and families, the soldiers, mostly Bedouins with some Muslim and Christian Arabs who volunteered to join the IDF, swore allegiance to the State of Israel and its defense.

The swearing-in ceremony took place three months after the beginning of the training course, eventually becoming full-fledged infantry soldiers.

One of the soldiers who took part in the ceremony was 20-year-old Private Suliman el-Magnun, a resident of the Al-Fura village in the Bedouin area of the Negev. El-Magnun enlisted following his two brothers and a cousin's volunteering for the IDF as well. One of his brothers served in Golani and the other as a tracker. His cousin was in the Ordnance Corps.

You are deflecting here. The point here is Israel and it's atrocities, NOT Hellfires via drones.

Secondly, do look up the number of people killed in WW1 & 2, and then come back and talk about Iran, Iraq, Libya, Lebanon and Syria.

But noone has brought up Israel's atrocities thus far. It's been about Pakistanis joining the IDF, or sleeper cells in the IDF, since when Muslims have been serving in the IDF, percentage of Muslims in Israel, something about beliefs and evidence, difference dialects of Arabic, how solomon2 is given a free hand on this forum, something about DNA, another member demanding proof to since when Muslims have been serving in the IDF, Israel's use of force and being able to have a nuclear program, Vice news on Bedouin trackers in the IDF, how ranting requires proof, the Indian Army being rapists, how the Bedouins look more yemeni, how the Bedouins look more African, how it's normal for someone to want to protect the country they live in, how the Bedouins are probably Ethiopian, some more stuff about DNA, and for some reason why insulting the PA deserves a ban.

Well since you are clueless about history, would help if you would read pre-20th Century, and just as an example the mongols, i.e. Hulagu Khan killed between 200,000 to 1,000,000 people in Baghdad 1258 A.D. From there on went on slaughtering, until he met his match and lost the Battle of Ain Jalut in 1260 to the Mamluks.

From 1258 to 1260 nearly 2,000,000 +/- Muslims were killed or slaughtered, in the Mongol offensive. The Mongols were NOT Muslims at that point in time.

When i was in the army,in my unit we were a combination of ultra orthodox jews. religious jews, traditional jews, secular jews,lone soldiers(from USA,Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Brazil, Argentina, Russia, Moldova and turk jew from germany),Ashkenazi jews and mizrahi jews,Circassians (Muslim), Christian Arabs, Bedouins, Muslim Arabs (Palestinians 48), and we were all like brothers, and our commander was Druze that was like a father to all of us.
One time i wrote my name in russian on my equipment and the arabs came to me and said "why you wrote it in russian you are in the israeli defence forces,you live in israel,you speak hebrew,and you are a jew,even us the arabs speak and write in hebrew" the arabs and muslims gave me lesson about zionism.

IDF is a conscription army, it doesn't lure people to apply with high salaries or benefits.

Privates, corporals, sergeants only get some pocket money, equivalent to several hundreds of USD. Barely enough for cigarettes and booze.
