Muslim nations denounce Myanmar’s persecution of Rohingya Muslims

Who will sanction them?
1.China is the biggest enabler.
2. India likes what they are doing.
3. USA happy that Muslims are getting killed.
4. Muslims countries don't care.
5. Pakistan selling them jets.
6. ASEAN countries don't care. Indonesia, Malaysia wants to be friendly with them no matter what happens to Rohingyas.
7. So, Muslim countries will only offer some lip service and then do nothing. Rest of the world won't even offer lip service.

I got it, you can only get sanctioned if you are a Muslim country just try to reject the UN and NATO. Not if you break every human rights act in the book and invade territory. (Like the Buddhist Myanmaris, and Indians)

.
As I said time for your Leaders to sit back and evaluate if they are with India or with Muslim countries on general matters of interest
We are with India and we are with Muslim countries. See what kind of relation India has with GCC countries and most of the Muslim countries.
Otherwise we are just wasting time here if your PM needs diplomatic help she should visit Pakistan and discuss matter of mutual interest and support each other on united front
Rohingyas need help. Diplomatic or any sort. Not BD pm nor BD.
We are looking at a declaration of support to Kashmiri freedom
Won't get it.
We are looking at a declaration of support to Kashmiri freedom and in return we will help with the refugee crisis and help mediate a peaceful resolution (It's called Diplomacy)
Even if we do what you are asking you won't be able to do what you are promising.

You also have to consider that, Muslim nations haven't proposed any sanction on them. They were very fast to put sanctions on Qatar. Indonesia, Malaysia can put considerable pressure on them via ASEAN but they don't care to do so. The things is even Muslim countries don't care.

UK is doing its part. It can still exert a lot of pressure on USA and bring back some of the western sanction bypassing China in UNSC. Western sanction actually do the most damage.

It's that Muslims countries have weak leaders. It's just so sad.

Why do you think Western countries will sanction them when even Muslims countries aren't willing to do anything?

To me the correct steps are

1- Align foreign policy with Pakistan
2- Visit Pakistan and hold dialog on cooperation to resolve or help the issue on diplomatic front
3- Support Pakistan on Kashmir

And we will use our political strength to help with crisis

hahahah , you so called political strength has been unable to solve Afgan refugee issue (3 decades have passed you are unable to kick them and they blow themselves where ever they want_, and you expect Bdeshi to seek help form Pak regarding Rohingyas

Bangladesh should learn what not to do under such circumstances form Pak history

Khawaja Muhammad Asif
Pakistan's foreign minister Monday added his voice to the growing chorus of criticism at the ongoing violence against the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, stressing that their plight is a challenge to the conscience of the international community.

Khawaja Muhammad Asif, who took his post last month, expressed support for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) call for immediate and effective action to bring an end to all human rights violations against innocent unarmed Rohingya Muslims, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

He also supported the recommendations of the commission led by former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan to address the issues of citizenship, freedom of movement, internally displaced persons, unhindered humanitarian and media access, provision of education, health, and other development requirements as well as urgent and sustained action to prevent violence, maintain peace, foster reconciliation, and offer a sense of hope to the Rohingya.

"Violence and serious human right violations of the Rohingya Muslims as well as violations of international humanitarian law are deplorable,” Asif added.

He also expressed concern over the spread of hate speech and incitement to violence, discrimination, and prejudice against Muslims and members of national ethnic, religious, and linguistic minorities.

Asif called for effective measures to prevent the recurrence of such violence, providing security to all and upholding the rights of each individual to live and move without fear and discrimination.

"Pakistan is committed to providing humanitarian assistance to the Rohingya Muslims to alleviate their suffering", he asserted.

Thousands of Rohingya Muslims have fled violence in Myanmar in recent weeks. A total of 87,000 mostly Rohingya refugees have arrived in Bangladesh since security forces launched an operation against their community in neighboring Myanmar on Aug. 25, the United Nations said on Monday.

Media reports said Myanmar security forces used disproportionate force, displacing thousands of Rohingya villagers and destroying their homes with mortars and machine guns.

The region has seen tensions simmer between its Buddhist and Muslim populations since communal violence broke out in 2012.

A crackdown launched last October in Maungdaw, where Rohingya make up the majority, led to a UN report on human rights violations and crimes against humanity by security forces.

The UN documented mass gang-rape, killings -- including infants and young children -- brutal beatings, and disappearances. Rohingya representatives have said approximately 400 people were slain during the crackdown.

"We" you are using is india installed ruling awami regime. Awami regime does not represent Bangladesh or Bangladeshi people. Its futile to present indian subservient in "Bangladeshi" label.

Besides, why blame arabs; who are worthless even for themselves; for your awami in-actions and obstructions to humanitarian needs????

Typical awami-malaun hybrid...

.
Because India is behind Myanmar.
Geographically India is towards north.

Economically Myanmar is more dependent on China. And is heavily influenced by China.

Also, India no longer takes Muslim refugees since 1971, especially now when Sanghi's are in power it's hellno for em.

India is nobody in the Myanmar - Bangladesh issue. Rather than we are concerned with those 14000 ready to be deported rohingyas staying in troubled Kashmir.

.
Because India is behind Myanmar.

While I do understand your eagerness to be India over everything...the fact of the matter remains that it was China which vetoed discussion about the rohingya crisis in U.N security council.Grow up kiddo

This is exactly what is wrong with Muslims

Every man for himself, so selfish

Let it be, today's it's them tomorrow it will be you
