A Muslim Bangladeshi Rashid Mia was killed by Pakistani army for making idols in 1971. Actually you can not term Bangladesh a Muslim country. It is a secular country where Muslims are majority with Hindu culture. We are Hindu by our ethnicity but Muslim by religion.

Asked if he had to fall into any obstacles, Akash said, "Actually, it is my job. I am making idols by mixing the sweetness of the mind. What I am making is not a big deal, I am working and running my family with hard earned money, that is the big deal. ' As soon as the season of worship increases, said Md. Of the sky. He concentrated on making idols out of bamboo, wood and clay. Akash, who is about 24 years old, has been involved in this profession since childhood. He made idols in association with Hindu artisans and decorated them with paint and brush.

Akash's elder brother and father worked as day laborers in Mymensingh. But Akash makes the idol of worship. Visiting the Raghunath Jiur Akhra temple in Jubalighat area of the city on Saturday, it was seen that the work of making more than 50 idols has been completed.

Arrangements are now underway to decorate the small idol. Craftsmen with paint-brushes in hand, one of whom is Akash. About the reason for coming to the profession of making idols, he said,

‘I have seen the work of making idols in the temple next to my house since my childhood. Jayant Ghosh used to make a regular idol. Being a child of a poor family, the parents could not get an education. When I was a little older, I tried to make an idol with Jayant Ghosh. Then I gradually learned to make idols and decorate them with paintbrushes. ‘Thus weeks, months and years go by. I don't even know when it became a profession. Now I make idols all year round. Durga Puja has the most pressure since three months ago. In addition to this work, sometimes you have to drive a van or work as a day laborer.

'Asked if there are any obstacles, Akash said, "Actually, it is my job. I am making idols by mixing the sweetness of the mind. What I am making is not a big deal, I am working and running my family with hard earned money, that is the big deal. ' "Many have asked me to quit," he said. Friends and relatives also forbade making idols. But since I am uneducated, no one takes easy work except a lot of hard work.

I am making a living by making idols for this. ' He said that after all the work on the idol of Durga Puja in the autumn, the master paid 30,000 rupees. Apart from this some money is given in other months of the year.

Parimal Pal, a businessman from Ganginarpar area of the city, was sitting next to him while arranging the idols. He told NewsBangla, ‘The task of making idols is very difficult.

Akash has gained the status of a craftsman as a result of learning this work. Muslim Akash and our Hindu artists are working together here. ' Tapan Pal, president of the city's Yadav Laheri Lane Puja Committee, told NewsBangla,

"There is no difference between Muslim and Hindu artists. Everyone respects us. ' He said, ‘Rashid Mia was famous among Hindus as an idol maker in Mymensingh in 1968. He was revered by all artists. He was shot dead by Pakistani forces in 1971 for making idols. However, he is still remembered by all of us as a talented artist. '

Here, fixed it for you as below:

"Actually you can always term Bangladesh a Muslim country given the overwhelming majority Muslim population. It is a culturally secular country with Bengali culture. I am a Hindutva troll by identity but Muslim by display name."

You're welcome.

No, I edited it now. I thought he was Akash's father. No. He was a different man. He was shot dead in 1971 for making Hindu idols. Just read the bold part of the article.

Our Bengali ethnicity derived from Hinduism. So Hindu is part of Bengali ethnic identity.

Says who? You?

Define Bengali Ethnicity for everyone here. I am curious to read your bhaang induced gobor posting.
Why are you trying so much to link Bangladesh with Hinduism?

So you have log book of people, their trade / profession, and how they died?

Even then what Pakistan army, events of 1971 have got to do with Akash and your article?

As I said before how more shameless you have to be to link all this and try defaming Pakistan and Pakistanis.
