Sources have confirmed that the ex president has formally invited former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, to join his political party who could give his political party, All Pakistan Muslim League (APML).

Musharraf, who telephoned Kamal Wednesday, has invited him to Dubai for a meeting in which, according to sources, the latter is likely to swear his political allegiance to the former.

Musharraf, who is facing criminal proceedings, says his party will contest local government elections.

Analyst say Kamal, who changed the face of Karachi for the better during is 2005-10 stint as city nazim, can help Musharraf's party claim some seats in the local government system, especially in the metropolis.

In 2013Kamal left Pakistan after developing differences with Altaf Hussain, the MQM's London-based supreme leader, according to media reports. However, the MQM, denying any differences with him, had said that Kamal went abroad because of his personal reasons.

Musharraf, the 71-year-old former strongman, of Pakistan returned home in March 2013 after four years of self-imposed exile to run in general elections, vowing to "save" the country from Taliban violence and economic ruin.

But Musharraf, who seized power in a bloodless coup in 1999 and resigned in 2008, was barred from standing and put under house arrest over numerous criminal charges -- including treason.

APML were mauled -- winning only one seat -- as Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) swept to power, but Musharraf wants to launch an audacious bid to see his party re-emerge as a force.

"We will go in local body polls with the slogan of 'Pakistan first' and win," he told AMPL's central executive committee.

Elections to elect local government representatives are expected to take place in three provinces later this year.

Musharraf, the first former army chief to be charged with treason, also predicted early general elections and directed his party to prepare for a national campaign.

Musharraf is facing several major criminal cases linked to his time in power, including the 2007 assassination of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto in a gun and suicide attack but proceedings have repeatedly stalled.

Not the finance but the dam mind set Is the problem cause by unfair share of rightfull political power?
Finances can be established in million ways but if there is no mind to use it , then nothing stupid will happen ?

But if even the mind is there, how will they get arms and ammo and training without money. Because as far as I know, a Criminal Is Very Expensive. They have 101 nakhrey, you have to provide them many facilities. So tough to maintain. Block the funding, they will be unemployed.
