He should declare a counter fatwa to their fatwa.
Ur post does raise a simple question .Is everything for Chief Justice or Supreme Court to do ? where is the so called 'elected government' ... what has been their reaction afterall they claim to be a leadind left party.A reasonable question: What does it say about a religion whose understanding is that individuals can be declared "eligible for Murder" - what kind of a religion and what kind of understanding of religion is this? Is this any different from takfir, an idea introduced by the Wahabi?
Why should the world and indeed, Muslims, not fear this kind of religion and understanding of religion?
And note that while the Pakistani state claims to be fighting extremism and while the Chief justice of Pakistan takes issue witht he government of political issues, neither the executive, nor the legislature and nor the Supreme court of Mr. Chief justice Choudary have taken any notice of this. Is the world really wrong to question the sincerity of Pakistan in fighting extremist ideas in society??
