Got first metro this year for a few kilometres but somehow it is present all over Bangladesh

I am sorry but after seeing Dhaka in person, most travelers from India cannot believe their eyes. All Indians are welcome to Dhaka so they can see for themselves.

Dhaka is still a dump but probably not as bad as bhakts try to paint it as, despite having a lot less money than India which a large population naturally affords for their larger cities.

BTW Kolkata and Dhaka cannot be compared - they each have their own mojo and vibe. Dhaka I'd say is a lot more modern and far more extensive bridge and highway infra nowadays (Dhaka has 14 lane Expressways). And we have just started building the new suburbs which I've shown pictures of already. It's okay, some people want to be jealous, they can be....

Why did they waste money building 2 swamps and then multiple bridges on top of it
Looking at those bridges they are way too low to allow a boat to pass through, so no way its a route for boat transportation. Next would be a sewer/gutter, or even a water drain, but then they could have just built one, eliminating the need for multiple bridges on both and also cheaper to build and landscape a single one. My guess is they hired some wacko from dubai to design this, thinking it would look cool but all it does is make it look like a swamp ,

Swamp dweller, show me an example of any such freeway in the world which has a filthy potty swamp on both sides. I find Karachi and Dhaka to be indistinguishable; they are exactly the same without any noticeable differences. Moreover, both these cities cannot compare to the physical infrastructure of cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune and Ahmedabad in India. Additionally, it is a well-established fact that none of these Indian cities can match the level of physical infrastructure found in Beijing and Shanghai.

Additionally, it is a well-established fact that none of these Indian cities can match the level of physical infrastructure found in Beijing and Shanghai.
