Mullah Omar is alive and in Karachi, claims Afghan spy chief

Perhaps you should email that page to Joe Biden

The Taliban are not our enemy, says Biden as U.S. prepares to negotiate prisoner transfer deal
US may not target Mullah Omar after this year

US may not target Taliban leaders after Jan 2

And there are many many more news clips of the same. So, please inform the state department that they have obsolete wanted ads on their website which aid delusional Indians into making stupid claims!

As I said earlier, the report was never made public. What you have is exactly what our agencies want you to have.

But you do have a point - the report is bull shit as you say because it absolves the army and isi of having any knowledge of obl and of helping him. Neither does it hold anyone accountable for the security lapse, nor chides anyone for aiding and abetting terrorism and being a safe house for dreaded terrorists.

It's as you say - what your agency wants to spread - that is culpable denialablity.

.
Amarullah Saleh is full of BS. He 'CLAIMED' to have said it to Musharraf. There is no way to VERIFY what he said. Besides there is no solid evidence that OBL was killed in Abbottabad.

LOLLL; going by what you say; of course there is no solid evidence that Osama was even killed.......or that Osama even existed.......trust you to come up with that......just another day on pdf.

.
I am not amazed by the news and will surely not decline the possibility as Karzai and Afghan intelligence numerous times told west about UBL whereabouts possibilitlies in Pakistan but they ignored. Infact RAW too had information about UBL and were provided to Americans but they relied on Pakistan too much...

You are indeed right, he might get ethnic back up but cannot rule Afghanistan "Abhi itna bada nahi hua so" :)

Yes, UBL....
Many branches of UBL are located in Pakistan and also outside Pakistan...:D
RAW can go to there website at www.ubl.com.pk for much more classified information..

.
Like Osama was also in Afghanistan as per Musharraf.

If he is in Karachi than why didn't Afghan intelligence told this to ISI? Why they told this to any american reporter? Give me the source for the news you mentioned if you have any

.
they never said they will not attack mullah omar. here is paragraph from the source you provided.

“Is Mullah and the other people on this list, are they no longer liable for their past acts in Afghanistan?” a journalist asked.

“I don’t know if I can answer that question. As the recognised leader of the Taliban to the degree the Taliban still poses a threat or poses a threat to us or to our allies, they will continue to be prosecuted by US military operations,” Admiral Kirby said. “I can’t really make it any more simpler than that.”

Precisely, it means exactly what I had said earlier, that Mullah Omer and Talibaan are no longer a threat......that is, unless they become a threat. The Talibaan, under Mullah Omer, will gradually become a part of the mainstream politics of Afghanistan and the US Government recognizes it after its failure to eliminate them.

You guys do believe in fairy tales and djinns..don't you?.

Fairy tales....NO.
Djinn.......YES.

ISI & PakMil has served the US interests over the decades, believing that our interests somehow align. However the exact reason and the exact return for this service continues to defy me.

As for the rest of your BS, as I said earlier, you of all the countries in the world should not point fingers at any one at all!

We are one of the biggest victims of your exports, so of course we will point fingers, hands and whatever at the terrorist safe house next door - because our most wanted too use that sanctuary.

Why do want anything in return to take out evil? It's in fact pakistan that should pay the US for helping it clean the house.

Whatever US considered evil in the past 10 years were considered great patriots and heroes comparable to US forefathers and founding fathers some 20 years ago. What I mean here is whatever we have with the US is something unique and beyond your reasoning skills.

As for being the victims, the day you realize how much of a hand you have in TTP alone, you will never speak about being victims ever again.

No evidence of it, whatever assumptions you have are circumstantial. Though, Afghan intelligence running such ops isn't far fetched - that can't be blamed on us because it's the US and ISAF that's been managing them all this while.

The mistake was in holding on to the heroes for other strategic purposes and no one's to blame for that other than their handlers.

One can understand their grouse when troops, armor, fighter jets, drones are bombing the mujjis under wot in Pakistan - they will turn on to soft targets in revenge.

Are Indian MI ops pre 2008 and MI TSD ops after 2008 through Afghanistan in pakistan circumstantial as well ?

Mullah Omar is alive and in Karachi, claims Afghan spy chief

KABUL- Taliban's reclusive leader Mullah Muhammad Omar is alive and hiding in the Pakistani city of Karachi, claimed a top Afghan intelligence official, echoing a similar assessment by Western intelligence sources.

"There is a lot of doubt whether he is alive or not. But we are more confident that he is in Karachi," acting Afghan intelligence chief Rahmatullah Nabil was quoted as saying in the New York Times regarding Omar's whereabouts.

A European official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said in the NYT report that there is a "consensus among all three branches of the Afghan security forces that Mullah Omar is alive".

"Not only do they think he's alive, they say they have a good understanding of where exactly he is in Karachi," the Pakistani metropolis where some say Mullah Omar is hiding.

The report said that Omar has always functioned more as the spiritual and ideological leader of the movement than as an operational commander.

His inner circle, made up of village mullahs who have known one another for decades, has provided the active leadership of the Taliban's many local factions.

"But now one man, Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansour, has risen to the No 2 role and become the main link to Omar, allowing him to place his loyalists up and down the ranks," Nabil said in the report.

Nabil, in his assessment, saw Pakistan's security establishment driving the changes, an appraisal shared by some Western officials.

"Some said it was a bid for greater control over the insurgency; others saw it as the evolution of a long-running Pakistani effort to avoid the embarrassment of having Omar discovered being sheltered in their country," the report said.

The report comes even as Pakistan tries to clamp down on terrorists following the Taliban attack on a Peshawar school this month that killed 148 students and their teachers.

PM Sharif vowed not to show any distinction between good or bad Taliban and ‘resolved to continue the war against terrorism till the last terrorist is eliminated’.

Other Afghan officials, along with some European and American counterparts, said the suggestions that Omar had died were a propaganda ploy intended to weaken Taliban morale, not a reflection of the true thinking within the Afghan government.

MaulviNajibullah, a senior Taliban military commander, said in a telephone interview from Peshawar, that he has ‘not seen Omar in a very long time’.

Taliban spokesman ZabihullahMujahid credited Omar's reclusiveness with his survival, claiming that Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was found because he had couriers coming and going with videos and letters.

"We are attempting to eliminate any possible opportunity that could end up helping our enemies find our leader," the report quoted Mujahid as saying.

yeah he is selling vegetables in karachi

.
I think Mullah Omar and Dawood Ibrahim are living together in karachi, spending time in playing cards, watching movies and in outing. Surely he will be in Afghan Government in upcoming years as America already announce that they will not attack him means there is some backdoor diplomacy. If afghan intelligence is so strong then kindly tell us where Fazlulah is.
