MQM killed Geo TV journalist Wali Khan Baber: Ansar Abbasi

KARACHI: ‘The News’ and Geo Television affiliated investigative journalist Ansar Abbasi while answering a question in a TV talk show claimed that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was involved in the killing of Geo News journalist Wali Khan Baber.

In an ARY NEWS show, Ansar Abbasi was asked by a panelist and Express News journalist Javed Chaudhry as to why Ansar’s channel did not blame the murderers of Wali Khan Baber in the same fashion as they blamed ISI chief in the case of Hamid Mir.

“If any party was named in the investigation and judicial inquiry it was MQM” , Ansar replied

Ansar further said that the labeling of journalists as ‘traitors should stop.

The famous investigative journalist maintained that it was Hamid Mir’s brother Amir Mir who told about Mir’s attack fearing letter and suspected ISI chief General Zaheer-ul-Islam not the Jang/Geo Group.
