It is a wise movement from MQM for the first time I must say.

It is putting PML-N in difficult situation and will give MQM the leverage of pretending like "Mazloom". If PTI despite all those crap they uttered for months and hostage the entire nation could be forgiven and their resignations not accepted despite legal time period of absence from the assemblies passed over, MQM too is going to do the same thing and if their resignations were accepted or they were not asked to remain in the parliament, it will be fit situation for playing innocent card claiming they are not treated equally.

PML will try not to let this happen.

If seats are vacated, the biggest contender is PTI (PPP is dead). It's likely MQM might support PTI because PPP ditched them. So PML would not want PTI to come as winner as it'd make it seem like PTI is more popular. Plus winning Sindh 50 seats = HUGE chance of winning Sindh gov't next time.

I really hope the letters are accepted. The good people from MQM will join PTI and likely win election. I just hope PTI does NOT accept bad MQM members.

Until and Unless Army tells them to accept them because they are pissed of on MQM and they are pretty much fed up of these traitors they will take them out. Only thing which can and would stop PML N from not accepting resignation is that they are again doing drama from which they would back off really soon.

Yes they want Uzair Baloch is brought back and those who have ran away they would also be brought no matter where they run. Clearly no MQM will remain their time is up and they would taken out in most ruthless manner. Rangers know How to deal with them their leaving doesn't matter they would be brought back when operation against those sitting in Parliament begins.

They should not take the risk if PTI manages to win close to half seats in Karachi it would be biggest blow to MQM. If they are smart they should stop this resignation drama now and sit in Parliament although even that won't save their butts for long but still would save them for few months may be.

I don't know about that, but by elections will be largely won by PTI as MQM will boycott it. This will make PML look weak, losing popularity, and may place PTI as legal opposition in Sindh, National assembly which allows them to participate in election comminsier etc.

ppp is good among feudals, not city like karachi. Maybe PML will try to help PPP win seats by throwing support withdrawing its canidates, but again, PTI will become opposition in sindh minimum.
