ISLAMABAD: The growing popularity of Army Chief General Raheel Sharif seems to have gone beyond street banners and social media praises, as a group of people in Islamabad have earmarked a land to build a mosque in his name.

A local people in Ghori Town Phase-III, belonging to Khokhar clan, have allocated a piece of their ancestral land to construct a mosque ‘Jamia Masjid Gen Raheel Sharif, Madrassa Jamia Darul Amn.’

These people strongly opposed to Imtiaz Ali alias Taji Khokhar, a notorious person said to be involved in various criminal activities.

Safdar Khokhar, who is heading a local group Tehreek-i-Nijat Qabza Mafia, people in the area had decided to name it after the army chief because he is a national hero and working against corruption and land mafias.

A piece of two kanal belonging to Safdar and his family members has been allocated for the mosque. Safdar told that the whole locality would be contributing to establish the mosque and the seminary.

It looks like a fight between two gangs, but when i compared both groups there was very remarkable difference.
Kashmiris were very young from 13 to 22 years with proper hair cut but khokars looks like Dangars typical paindoo style.

They offered 2.5 lacs to independent candidate Raja Aurangzeb NA 49 resident of muzafarabad to withdraw from elections but candidate refused to take it.
It is very sorry to say Raja Aurangzeb cannot afford 2 times meal for his children and school fees, but he refused to lay arms against Khokars.
I am proud on him and casted first vote of my life for my Kashmiri brother.
