More Syrian Blood on Obama's Hands

No, I'm a Pakistani born and bred ! I used the term 'us' to refer to 'us - in the International Community'; for I believe that we mustn't interfere in Syria because the facts are still murky, the opposition is as saintly as Asad is and because, if nothing else, 'its none of our business' ! Its a civil war...condemn it, sanction Syria, put more pressure on Asad but lets not put boots on the ground for that, in my opinion, would be taking it a step too far ! 'Dead Civilians....Dead Syrians' are never condonable and every bit condemnable but let us also not forget that if Libya, Afghanistan and Iraq are anything to go by, 'Interventions' rarely, if ever, go according to plan ! They have a tendency to go horribly awry and one would do well to realize that we might end up making things worse-off.

Human right is universal and if possible, there should be multilateral effort (under the banner of UN) to enforce it. It is easy to blame USA, and yes they will have motive behind everything they do( who does not ? ) but question is why everybody else does not do anything.
Armstrong, will you also preach non interference when muslims were being killed in bosnia? I am not talking of one or two person dying but hundreds or possibly thousands systematically killed.

BTW about syria, I still dont know the facts, western press sometimes goes overboard in showing atrocities.

All the Pakistani support Bastard assad are Shia. Aryan_b is the hugest Irani ball licker :guns: This forum full of bias shias

They no care about Syrian kids murder because of sunni
Never thought from that angle. Many of aryan's posting villifying arabs and praising iran makes sense now.

We - the International Community, the World at Large, the Security Council - choose your pick; not talking about Pakistan but about 'Us as in Us...the International Community....us the World at Large and us, the Security Council - again choose your pick ! Period...don't look into it more that that my friend !

And ethnically cleanse the 'Alawites'....? that better be a joke my friend because otherwise you need some serious counselling !

Have you noticed having an alternate pov or trying to suggest peace leads to these outrageous outbursts by some?

Had I been unequivocally sure about 'massacres' going on in Syria...I'd support your stance but the problem is that Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and the half-truths or out-right lies told about them have made me a 'skeptic' !

Mate I agree with you 100% here. Of course we must condemn these atrocities no matter who is committing them but how can be certain who is to blame. I would be very upset to find out that inadvertently I had supported those responsible for this

Personal attacks are unnecessary. I do not speak for Shias or Pakistanis I speak only for myself. It is a bit disturbing that you would view people who are trying to avoid Muslim deaths like say in Iraq or Libya in this manner

What a RAG article. EVERYTHING, no matter WHAT, is the U.S.'s FAULT. You can ONLY LAUGH AT THE BLATANT (AND POORLY LAID OUT) ATTEMPT TO PORTRAY THE U.S. AS THE BAD GUY. Why isn't the mighty Army of, say.... Pakistan to blame for not doing anything to help their fellow muslim brothers ? Actually, isn't EVERY muslim to blame for not helping their brothers in Syria ? Isn't that the way things go in islam ? SHAME !!! SHAME ON THE muslims !!!

Read the article - the primary accusations revolve around the US arming Syrian insurgents who are on a killing spree of civilians. That IS the fault of the US, no twisted logic needed. Plain and simple.

The west in general and USA in specific are not arming and haven't done that, they only provide communications devices, I know that from people who personally contacted with high rank members in FSA. Although GCC have pledged to arm them, but they say, the most arms they got are from black market. Syrian insurgents don't kill civilians but regime thugs. I don't know where do you guys live. It's just unfortunate.

Perhaps it would be best to keep certain information under wraps you know.

Mate, I hear you...I understand. But for every 'Bosnia', I'm reminded of a 'Libya, an Iraq and an Afghanistan' !

Aryan and myself, are what you would call as 'Sunnis' but even if we weren't, in Pakistan the Sunni-Shi'ite divide isn't a significant thing...the zealots in our ranks would probably declare the other as Non-Muslims and they often do, but by-and-large, we get along remarkably well ! And so the Shi'ites of Pakistan supporting Asad or Iran or villifying the Arabs, might have a 'Sectarian' dimension to it but Shi'ite-Sunnis in general and the Shi'ite-Sunnis on PDF in particular don't tow this line...we tend to see things through the lens of 'Pakistan' !

P.S If you're going to get convinced by a guy who named himself 'Me dong tu long' before we had him 'castrated', then I feel for you, man ! :P

Situation in Syria can be paralleled to what India faced in Kashmir. Terrorism, insurgency and bigotry. Only much more severe. Almost everyday, terrorist suicide bombers kill scores of innocents by blowing up public places to "protest" against the government.

It is no secret brother, you can easily find many Syrians who personally contacted with FSA in Facebook or Arab defense forums. There is an official page of FSA on Facebook. So, it's no secret.
